Cant deny the fact that Charizard is simply one of the most strongest pokemon out there. Without being legendary. His badass attitude and starvation for power is what keeps him in the fight. He doesn't care how powerful the opponent is.. he still fights them. It's why he has my respect. He's always and will always be my favorite pokemon
Charmander/meleon/zard was my original favorite line from OS as a kid. Honestly though? As an adult after about 30 yrs with the series it has shifted to dragonite. Fast and durable but still heavy hitting, not only the original mystery monster as a giant in episode 13 at the lighthouse dragonite was also the original boss pokemon to beat to be the champion (before gary reveal). Every time you see one they're either derpy-happy or on a rampage destroying everything. Truly undervalued in todays pokemon world and undervalued by me as a kid...Dragonite is awesome :)
I am so impressed about Red’s story and his charzard I mean charzard vs blasoise you would always think blasoise would win and don’t forget charzard defeated 4 legendary Pokémon articuno zapdos moltres and mewtwo.
I love when Giovanni sends out his Nidoqueen he looks so confident like he thinks it’s guaranteed that he is going to win. Also the music in this moment goes very well with it.
Charizard had always been my favorite Starter, it has maintained that title since I chose Charmander as my very first Pokemon ever in FireRed version, my first Pokemon game. This only makes me love that flying fire-lizard even more.
Man, same. The first pokemon game I ever played was fire red. I got charmander to Charizard and even had a zapdos, but I didn't. BEAT, the pokemon leage got close to the fourth guy, I think, but then I lost the game and never got it back😢
I just love Charizard (as well as shiny form) and Mega Charizard X. Along with Ninetales (both versions (as well as shiny forms)), Lucario (and it's mega form), Jolteon, Espeon and Dust Lycanroc (love the shiny form as it is my favourite colour blue). These are my top favourite Pokemon ever.

@@ssjdarkdrakus5291 You don't really need to play them on an old GBA. You can get a GBA emulator on PC or your phone, and play the games from a ROM file. A lot of the early Pokemon games (especially the first 2 generations) are almost unplayable now on their original cartridges due to things like the internal batteries dying. Gold and Silver suffer from it real bad because they use an internal clock that kills them faster. My old Blue cart only boots up maybe 1 time in 5 and will probably be completely dead soon. If you liked Let's Go Eevee, FireRed and LeafGreen are the same story but with much deeper gameplay. The Let's Go games are a nice way to get into the Pokemon world, but a bit limited by simplified mechanics. The main series Pokemon games really let you build a well-rounded competitive team, OR you can just solo run the whole thing by walking in with a +20 over-leveled Charizard, which is what most of us did as kids.
This reminds me, my first ever Playthrough of Pokémon Fire red I had a Charizard that evolved from my starter, now I know A lot of ppl say this, but man was that dude tough, taught him some wicked moves, his best being Overheat and Hyperbeam and after I got him to lv 50 he never Lost another battle, strange Enough for anyone wondering I found a sort of glitch back in the day and was able to trade him to my other game Safire where he remains the Only Charizard in that Region even took down Kyogre for me when I was Legendary hunting!! Crazy memories back then, man he was Strong!!!!!! 🔥👍🤙😎

When charizad was charmeder he is so cuteeeeeeeeee and when he became charizad he is so sleepy if he doesn't want to fight so he directly just remove ash request but anyways he is my second favorite Pokemon 🤗
