@@neptunium2378Tbh... ORAS was extremely disappointing all around. I'll gladly play an emulator over the remakes. Hell, I still keep aa batteries on hand for my gba with ruby in it. Meanwhile my 3ds collects dust next to it.

I’ve been subbed for a few years and he used to post more frequently a few years ago but his uploads slowed down cause he made a couple really big year long projects and all social media algorithms like to throw people away that don’t post frequently
I honestly think that the Hoenn theme is the best elite 4 theme ever, it's amazingly well rounded having extremely frenetic moments, and slow but tense ones, and the clapping segments are amazing and hype you up always that you hear them
Gosh, it’s tough to rank the E4 themes since I think they’re consistently the best group of songs across the series when they actually exist, including the elite leader theme from swsh. Idk if I like unova’s more or less than this

This song, to me, stands for two masters at their art having a playful, yet competitive stand-off with one another. Each one-upping the other with more and more skill. It's the art of battle. Every second of this piece pictures another moment of this showdown I imagine. From the intense feeling of facing a master - to the euphoria of battle - to joy in the others' art - to mutual respect. You captured this with absolute perfection, I draw my hat in awe!

There's a kind of musical identity of Pokemon, and you nailed it 100%. I don't understand how Gamefreak didn't understand their own game with the remake because this is it.
Your attention to detail (e.g. background descending ornaments around 1:22-1:27) is second to none. Marc is absolutely stunning as always (though I personally prefer a more legato sound, the staccato fits the song well). The breakdown early in the piece literally gives me chills (0:26). Just discovering this in 2022. Freaking awesome version. Way better than the re-arrangement built for ORAS. Too bad it can't be downloaded anymore :( But I'm just currently replaying Emerald, and I swer when I reach the Elite Four, I will sound this marvel in loop for every battle 🤪

I keep coming back to this version because it's insane how much better this sounds than the Game Freak version. This makes the ORAS versions sound like they were performed by a high school band.
Man, I think this cover is even better than the ORAS version. I battled the E4 so many times as a kid trying to grind my Pokémon to level 100 so this song really takes me back. Thanks for another kick-ass cover!
I rembered too. I took Blaziken at Lv100 and keep him alone in my team. I just destroyed the Elite Four and the boss too without losing any life points. Every attack was a 1-shot attack 🤯 Too much nostalgy when I hear this track
