Possessed Pirate Captain Archie wants ye ta walk the plank!

Theory Time: Seeing the first picture gave me a thought: The anime has established that the Blue and Red orbs can possess beings, such as Pikachu. So, what if Groundon or Kyogre somehow managed to possess two ordinary men in charge of a then-harmless Team Aqua or Magma with their respective orbs, to awaken them from their slumber/imprisonment. This could act as an explanation as to why one team is more ruthless with their objectives while the other is making no action to pursue it. For example, in Pokemon Ruby, we don't see Team Aqua making any moves to raise the sea level. This could also act as another reason why Maxie and Archie make such a quick turnaround after Kyogre/Groundon are released. In fact, they're no longer required to be possessed. Also, why do they grab the wrong orb to control their legendaries at the start? Because the other orb, the right orb, was inside them. What do you think?

I remember when I first fought Kyogre. It was during my Nuzloke challenge nad was a pretty easy pokemon to catch, although I lost my main electric attacker. Ah. Good times.

Turned on my gameboy to day and played some Ruby. Good times.

Sad thing is, if you never read Pokémon Special, you'll never understand the true meaning of this picture.

Personally, I think Archie was kinda dumb in his plan. Not only does he have ALL THAT SHIT past Lilycove, but his plan in the originals was to use Kyogre to take water out of the ocean and put it back INTO THE OCEAN. Goddamnit.

I always absolutely loved this theme for the boss battle, usually play with my game on silent but I would always turn it up to hear the Magma/Aqua boss theme

I used to like TM better due to the outfits in the original RSE. (Those hoodies were cute.) I now prefer Team Aqua due to Archie (he's so affable! Funny thing I used to be a bit disturbed by Archie due to his manga-counterpart and now, he comes across as a pretty nice dude if not for the fact he's a villain boss out to flood Hoenn) and the new uniform they got. (Contrast Team Magma, who look like they're trying to be scary and are failing)

This theme was one of my favorite "Team" boss Theme's I'm so happy you made a remix of it and it sounds so awesome too. I especially love the clapping noises when the music starts to get quicker. It like gets you super pumped that's probably my favorite part of the song in both this remix and the original version.

Okay, second comment, to describe the music this time. Wow, you took an already amazing theme and just made it ten times better. That choir added the perfect amount of, "Holy Hell, shit just hit the fan!" to this piece. Very ominous sounding. I'm glad to see you kept the claps in there. The piano added to the eery feel of the music. And my God, that percussion gives that adrenaline rush needed in battle music, it makes me want to start fighting. I need to find my Sapphire Version, now....

Archie now: ARGH IMA PIRATE LOOK AT MAH BOOTY (lol why) Not sure of my preference, I mean the only reason I have anything going against the original is because I never played RSE, with ORAS being my introduction to the Hoenn region, my new personal favorite. 7.8 my butt.

I really wish that emerald had a remake as well. It’s slightly different story made all the difference. The double battle against Archie and Maxie, with you teamed up with Steven, and Wallace being the champion, plus that final battle with Steven in Meteor Falls. Emerald will always be my favorite game

Every time I listen to this I just see a conductor directing all the different pieces, and it's a magical experience! This song was my favorite in the entire pokemon game series, nothing tops it in my book.

Generation 3 along with Generation 2 are by far the best Pokemon games

Man I aside from the rivals, Maxie and Archie. Aside from Zinnia they are the characters that grow the most. Maxie and Archie want to make the world a better place for pokemon and humans but have different ways and means to come by that. There top to trusted members realize that they are going about it the wrong way andtry to convince them but they can't shake their feelings and ideas. In the end when everything turns horrible they realize the mistake they made and do their best to right their wrongs. They are just great!

Okay. I can't decide which is more creepy. The artwork here where Archie is being possessed by the red orb or where he's being possessed by the blue orb in the manga. I can't decide since they're both freakin' creepy. Maybe the manga since the orb took over him and so did Kyogre so maybe that? I really don't know though. XD BTW...Maxie FTW. Actually I like both Maxie and Archie about the same so if I had to choose someone else in one of the teams who was my favorite I already know. It would be Courtney. ^.^

1) If Archie won, the residents of the Hoenn region would move from it or find the highest bit of land they could find, which would probably be around Mt. Chimney and Lavaridge Town, to live on. If Maxie won, I could see Hoenn becoming a desert region, with that much sunlight every lake would dry up, the plants would die, and the drought would turn the region into a large Dust Bowl. 2.) Archie, he has always struck me as the more evil of the two, seeing as how he would drown an entire region.

Kyogre is the better R/S/E imo (Water Spout+Full HP+STAB+Rain. Nothing lives.), but i kinda enjoy the magma grills better. I think their little horns on their hoods are super adorable >_> And now in ORAS, I'm really liking Shelly. Haven't seen the female Magma admin, but we'll see. Lastly, Lisia is bet ORAS girl and there's nothing you can do to change my mind.
