Saguaro is quite the intrigue, his burly and slightly menacing appearance contrasts with his all-female team of cutesy and feminine Pokemon. He makes me think of a passionate Spanish lover 💖
@@MidnightLucario1 that's true, fits the "misunderstood gentle giant" character type. He seems like a very confident guy too, not afraid to express himself. Can't help but admire him for that.
I love how they put more character on how all of them hold and send their Tera Orbs. It shows they personalities quite well. Arven: Resilient Jacq: Carefree Dendra: Committed Penny: Hesitant Saguaro: Defensive Nemona: Joyful Salvatore: Cool Tyme: Caring Miriam: Decided Raifort: Analytical Geeta: Confident
@@OfficialRyanx Resolute and decided are two completely different words, although similar. Resolute makes more sense to use as an adjective than "decided".
Lol tooo me a minute to notice you’re a huge Saint Seiya fan. Your Quaquaval is named Ikki and Gardevoir Athena. Love it man. 😂❤ Edit: And your Talonflame is named Seika, Seiya’s sister!
there are tons of Saint Seiya fans in France, believe me in my college, there were bunch of friends of mine that talked about Saint Seiya Omega that came out at that time, man what a time
I THINK her team is based on different methods of healing? Like, Hypno is used to put people to sleep, sawsbuck is using stuff like herbs and oils, eelektross is that leech thing that i dont know the name of, pincurchin is shock therapy, glalie is putting ice on a bad wound, and toxapex is accupuncture?
@@Terumimi That’s what I was thinking too plus Toxapex can help with poisons by using its toxins for antidotes. Pincurchin can also be for acupressure and acupuncture too!
I'm more surprised she doesn't have Gardevoir and Hatterene. I read on TVTropes that she has a Hattena and a Ralts in her medical office to help with mental health consultation. That said, Hassel has a Gible but doesn't fight you with a Garchomp, so I guess I was being too forceful in my thinking 😅
@@chaeldon528 yeah i think more mons being considering the leak said about paradox Suicune and Virezion and also we dont how the 3rd primary legendary look
the idea of a future Paradox Eevee I would think that'll be like Arecus where you can change it's type with plates, with an ability like Color Change or Protein, or you can change it's typing outside of battle with a key item. also when it's idle or not battling it has no fur on its neck like Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon, and Glaceon; but in battle it gets fur collar but it changes based on it's typing.
I love the elegant bow Mr. Saguaro does. He's such a gentleman! I am kinda bummed that so far I haven't gotten to battle Nemona yet. I was hoping to let her battle Koraidon like she wanted :(
I find it fun to fight against the professors. The closest thing in real life when you finish the course we played football matches between students and teachers, what memories. I would have liked to have these Pokémon teachers in real life, they are generally nice, some you dislike more than others but they are generally nice and as you progress through the adventure and regularly attend their classes you grow fonder of them. By the way, I like their presentations before fighting and the style that some have when throwing the pokeballs.
He's a pretty cool professor for language class. He tends to mix many languages when he's speaking and he's also adept at understanding Pokémon through their expressions. He has probably also been to Galar, as he gifts the player trainer a Galarian Meowth.
I think you miss the battle with Hassel, cause datamine shows he has a team full of 6 and they are all level 66-67, so he is an opponent in the tournament
I wonder if this may be something for the DLC or an unused leftover, since i’ve done the tournament over 50 times now and never had him show up. But I also remember seeing him on the trainer list.
@@mcihay246 i’ve run the tournament a ton of times, probably more than 50, and I’ve only ever seen Geeta, Clavell, and Nemona. I wasn’t sure Hassel could even show up, he must be the rarest one.
@@Onion_57 Ah. Yes. Clavell. I knew I was missing someone. But Hassel definitely shows up as both in the tournament and as a finalist. Considering he's a staff member, and part of the E4. It must be rare then... Huh.
Raifort should've had Hisuian Pokemon and Salvatore some Alolan and Galarian form. Tournament being a way to promote and tease some transferable Pokemon would've been neat. Also why they didn't give teachers outside Jacq and Tyme gen 9 Aces?
@@Poka_the_Phantom his Pikachu also could've become Alolan Raichu. Imagine him with a Team of Kantonian Tauros, Alolan: Raichu, Muk, Dugtrio and Galarian Slowbro and Perrserker. Also why no one does not use Dusk Lycanroc? Was it so hard to give one to Nemona or Tyme?
Agree on Salvatore having Alolan/Galarian forms, disagree on Raifort having Hisuian forms. How would she get her hands on any of them? Remember, the time machine’s existence is known only to the four main characters (and maybe Clavell, i forget if he was told about it), so there’s no way for her to get any Hisuian forms. And even if she had access to the time machine, it only goes into the past in Scarlet, and even then, all the Pokemon it brings are from the ancient past, while Hisui was probably only a few centuries ago, considering the state of technology in that game, so maybe the time machine wouldn’t even be able to get any Pokemon from Hisui in the first place. Tl;dr: There is no way for Raifort to get any Hisuian forms
@@dededeletethis9940 You're correct, Hisui is only a couple hundred years in the past (300 years MAXIMUM in the past), while the time machine in Scarlet was set to bring Pokémon from MILLIONS or even BILLIONS years in the past.
@@jeanduresau Maybe not billions, by that point it is exaggerated with the Jigglypuff ancestor's Dex entry because the Earth is under 4.6 billion years old and multicellular life started to appear about 600 million years ago. Fossil Pokemon should've been considered instead.
@@SoraFan23 yea that would be nice and/or hire more staff, get more skilled creators. I think one of the problems at game freak is that they aren’t necessarily expanding enough
The e4 cannot be rematched, alongside this the gym leaders could only be rematched once in postgame I believe As a result, only Hassel and Geeta can be fought multiple times due to their association with the school Also Geeta and Nemona aren't the only final battles you can get in the tournament, I've gotten Clavel twice now.
Oh, that's easy. He playtested it a few times prior, and put the other 2 starters in Pokémon HOME before placing them in the current file for content purposes.
@@MatheusSaraiva5 Yeah, overlooked that by a bit. Mixeli probably has multiple Switch devices. Kinda forgot that localized trading is a thing right from the start.
Uh... I don't think so. It's pretty much a remix of the Naranja/Uva Academy and Mesagoza theme. Very fitting when battling against the Academy Staff and Students in the main Mesagoza plaza.
@@nedrostram2360 Most likely. Also the fact that her ace has an Ability that halves the damage taken from Ghost-type, and since they very rarely (if ever) mention each other... Sisters' relationships are probably bitter
The way the battles are fought in this video are impressive, if it doesn't look like you didn't Terastallize your Pokémon or sent out the wrong Pokémon on purpose.
its decent diffuculty wise kinda like emerald, some battles are easy some aren't i think it wont ruin your experience with these games like it did with 6 & 8th generations
The gym leaders, elite 4 and the two champions are like in gen 6. Easy to defeat even without trying. They don't use healing items anymore and they use fewer pokemon.
So this is the closest thing to the Battle Tower the game has and, yet, offers only 12 different opponents? So much consideration for the postgame content! Thanks, Game Freak
Se podría decir que los profesores son sucesores espirituales de los líderes del frente batalla (?) Pienso eso porque los profesores fácilmente pudieron ser otra tanda de lideres de gimnasio
I have NEVER had Raifort... and I KEEP GETTING NEMONA. I've done this tourny soooo many times... Ah well. Double Koraidon go brrr and basically rip apart the competition anyway.
I really like Dendra's personality, but with my ODC, I feel so uncomfortable looking at that one piece of hair that is covering her eye but does not fully covers it. 😭
Pretty stupid they didn't include the Gym Leaders and Elite Four in this, especially not even letting the rivals/champion use their respesctive theme (my champion battle was ruined by the music glitch) PvP isn't enough, I NEED to hear these themes again outside of Online.
The first go-round was super easy for me. I didn’t even use my lvl 100 fully EV trained Hyper Trained Iron hands with Belly drum, earthquake, ice punch, and drain punch. Actually I did use it to kill mudbray with icepunch but other than that easy
