Seeing animations in pokemon legends arceus and in swsh or even 3ds games and then seeing these animations in this game is really upsetting Also, what's the purpose of eternabeam?
Finally more legends!! But I cannot deny that I'm kinda sad that the Ultra Beasts and Gen 7 Legends were not included in... I really like those... I hope they are added back in the DLC...
@@cervanteselizondojairo2402 I never said that the Ultra Beasts were legendary. If you look closely I said that "Finally more legends!!" referring to the legends that are already in SV. Then I said that "...I'm kinda sad that the Ultra Beasts and Gen 7 Legends were not included in..." making it clear that they are two separate pokemon classes, if I thought they were one in the same thing I would have said "Gen 7 Legends (Legendaries, Mythicals, and Ultra Beasts)"
The fact that they just reskinned other moves and spliced different moves together shows how little Pokémon cares about their employees, considering they felt the need to pump the update out.
These are just... sad to watch. As much as I despised Zacian in competitive battling, at least its signature attack was beautiful to watch! Dragon Ascent looks like a toned down Brave Bird... nothing looks all that interesting. I get not wanting a full cutscene for each attack, but as it is now, it's like everything is just tackle with extra steps.
Dragon energy used to be a cool lazer as Regidrago actually changed to look like a mouth, and the laser would sweep across, now its a LITERAL origin pulse clone. Even origin pulse looks worse now too
@@ceruledge7934 stfu they got rid of it because of the open world camera and it's attack animation. Unless you wanna see a janky demon claw the size of a person poke out and shoot lasers
Eternatus dynamaxes when using the move. And the game's not set in galar so no dynamax.. Unless something really zesty happens and the dynamax den stuff appears in paldea
Kinda sad that arceus judgement animation isn’t as cool. But then again I don’t think anything could compare to what it looks like in Pokémon legends, because that was just the coolest.
@@mds_main We don't even need to look into other games, actually. Legends Arceus had overworld battles *and* you could move around freely at any time, and the moves still looked ages better than this despite none of them being cinematic attacks.
It looks like it punched so fast that it seems like it didnt even go towards the Pokemon to punch. That is just insane. But then again look at how many animations they ruined, just look at Dragon energy, is just a knock off of Gandora's attack in the Yugioh anime.
If the various `bugs` are anything to go by, Either it would not be allowed to be traded while holding said plate or the plate would be `glitched` and vanish entirely. More likely the latter (Refer to certain moves when trading mons thru the new Home feature outright vanishing apparently). Which ultimately i would not suggest trying even if they had a way to re-acquire it in Legends Arceus, if you accidently released a mon holding said item and it does not have a feature to automatically give the held item back before being released. Plus it would out-right get banned for any Tournament based gameplay and likely online gameplay on top of that even if it could be allowed. But worst of all it could result in them purposely upping raid battle difficulty because everyone would likely start spamming Arceus to just nuke most encounters in general if it could just auto weak-ness, but likely have a bug which would not check for secondary typing, meaning dual types that resist/immune-tize thar first types weakness would break the Legend Plate in that regard. Thars a reason why i have yet to get back to Violet even after all these supposed fixes and that i do not play with a subscription, the amount of bugs that are present and somehow get introduced just make me rather spend the 30 dollars for the season pass on other games instead.
Going from the very cool judgment in legends arceus to this judgment in scarlet violet..... this is rough. And both have open world animations so there is no excuse.
I am surprised they did not add any of the ultra beasts. I wonder if they will have some type of meaning in the area zero going forward since Gilmora looks alien too
One of the many reasons why Articuno is my favorite Pokémon ever is that in X/Y, he could learn Mind Reader and Sheer Cold. Give him two pp ups and he was unstoppable

Get the rusted sword from the auction in Porto Marinada and have Zacian hold it while knowing Iron Head. That will let it use Behemoth Blade. The auction i's also where you get the other special legendary items like the reveal glass for the forces of nature and the plates for Arceus.
it's so funny how seemingly everyone can enjoy every pokemon and suddenly for my Hoopa in Pokemon Home it says that I can't transfer it because I must have first caught Hoopa on my games savestate. Without there being any hoopa event or anything whatsoever. Great work Gamefreak, but make it consistent for everybody next time cause right now I feel scammed as fuck
@@captaintorkoal6181 I think I figured it out. The problem is with Pokemon from Pokemon Go. My Hoopa was from Pokemon Go while all my other legendaries / shinies were from Switch games. First you need to get the Legendary from Sword / Shield / PLA / other previous main line entries - then you can transfer your Pokemon Go Pokemon.
NEVER make Bleakwind Storm a lower speed stat, make it a frozen status condition Sandsear Storm and Wildbolt Storm have the same secondary effects burn and electrocution
My Shield and Sword Pokémon both lost their signatures, and I can’t find them between the relearning moves. Also when I give the shield and sword with an extra space at the moves it still doesn’t appear. Can someone plz explain?
Those moves can’t be learned, and you won’t see them unless your doggo has iron head, is holding their special item, and is sent out in battle. Iron head turns into behemoth blank in crowned form only, so you’ll need to send your mon out into battle to see it. Hope this helps, because otherwise I have no idea.
Real talk: I'm actively irked at the fact that they legit just... Pallete-swapped Origin Pulse and Dragon Energy. Seriously, y'all even had the balls to delay the update by saying "Woopsie poopsie, we made an oopsie" and leave the update deadline as 'unde-fucking-fined', and THIS is the end result? This bullshit?
Man these animations are just sad lol I would rather they reused the animation from past games at this point. Dragon energy from sword and shield felt like a dbz attack
why df do they always give trash animations for signature moves the next gen over? Dragon accent went crazy and now it's lame as hell, same with groud and kyo. Legend arceus had crazy move animations too and they just scrap them for this garbage? Dynamax cannon is supposed to come from eternatus chest isn't it?
I don’t know but it royally makes me angry like I can take on a brick wall level of angry they spent the time to code and give it damage stats and acc but it’s not usable what is the purpose

@@thejokerjokes7638 Every Pokémon Moves since 1996 was in SWSW BDSP Legend Arceus Scarlet Violet but they didn't animated this. And i think Eternabeam was canonically is Forbidden outside of Galar because Paldea isn't ready for huge pokémon like Dynamax/Gigantamax Pokémon or Eternatus Eternamax. And they didn't remodel Eternatus Eternamax so the move is pretty useless.
@@nicottatretta1937 I rather them not put the move in the game then to just sit it there with all stats then say it can’t be used also the new animations for the moves are garbage the only ones I understand is zacian and zamazenta and Eterantus since those moves were more used on gmax Pokémon but hyperspace fury animation is mid calayrex and his mount attacks look so much worse
You should make a video of all of the home transferable Pokemon terastallize animations and if you could include the legendarys too that would be great thank you 😊
For some reason some of my Pokémon like the hoopa and Zarude didn’t carry their signature moves over to the game and it’s not showing up in remember moves either can someone tell me what that’s about
At the auction house area. As long as you have whichever Pokémon that needs that item in your party, a 4th auction vendor person will be there with the items
@@gnomesbane They don't need to be in your party, just in your box. I bought all 17 plates for Arceus (at ridiculously inflated costs) and the Prison Bottle for Hoopa, as well as the Reveal Glass for the genies. They were in my box. At least I had money to burn on those plates at this point in my S/V games.
Is anyone else getting the “this Pokémon isn’t registered” when it’s clearly now in the game but it’s not letting you send it over? For example, my Kyogre from go is sitting in home but won’t let me send it to violet. How am I supposed to register it when there’s no way to in the game?
Fix: anyone with this issue if you have a friend or family member trade lets say a "Rayquaza" at home and then put it in the game then trade back or put it back into home then trade that way
How do you transfer meloetta because home is saying I j have to capture it in that save file and I don’t think it’s in any of the Pokémon switch games? Or do I have to get it in a previous game?
