He then created Team Skull, a family-gang of fellow failures and misfits, and wanted to take revenge on the world that cheated all of them. He eventually met Lusamine, who said she admired his strength. Not long after, he became trapped in another dimension with the same woman, and learned that she was only using him, and didn't really care about him at all. I'd bet money on saying that frowning face was a result of him crying after realizing how messed up his life was. It's no wonder why Guzma is my favorite Pokémon character.
I would have loved this battle far more if Lusamine's Pokemons got transformed into super scary weird hybrids as well. Her transformation was cool and all, but lacked something dominant...
I swear to god Lusamine slowly degenerates over time. From what was a president of a company to a deranged mother wanting to fuse with a jellyfish like creature and in the process get defeated and get poisoned by Nihilego. Lillie literally has to save her mother or the poison consumes her.

Like Haltmann, she's just another pawn taken by her undying obsessions, she doesn't even look like a villain, but we need more strong female antagonists in games.
Cosmog is the very first legendary species line that can evolve. Future generation games like this can change their patterns / formulas. It's a nice change.

I wish Lillie woudve caught him herself because its nebby.Even if she didnt have any pokemon she coudve just caught like when froakie made himself go into the pokeball in the show.Then we woudve had to battle the E4 or battle tree,then we could battle a level 70 Lunala or caught another cosmog an evolved it
You got a point + a missed opportunity from game freak, I would love to raise a pokemon (for cosmog case) to become a legendary pokemon it would be a huge change in how the gameplay flow since they change a lot from their old gameflow (old game flow: start of game > battle a few gym > screw up a evil organization > battle the remaining gym > fight the elite 4 > screw up the champion > capture other region legendary > do sidequest > and the game is over). and also the pokemon series as a whole is all about bonding with pokemon, IDK who the idiot forget this one thing and just lets lillie get nebby and you get cosmog in a way for you to raise into a legendary. It would be awesome to do that then get a full evolve form.

So the second half of the game has so much feels that I feel like someone dropkicked me tin the heart. If you don't feel the same then you might need to see a doctor about that.
John Knox Not true, they both have the same BST of 680, psychic has little effect on Solgaleo's steel typing, even less because it's also part psychic.. so I would say that Solgaleo is stronger
*SPOILER* If you go back to aether later in the game, you find out she actually did all this to get her husband back, that started the aether foundation but got lost in subspace, but while she was doing research on it, she kinda got brain trauma by those jellyfish beasts, basically possesed in a way, corrupted, so she started descending into madness no longer looking for her husband but still wanting to seek out the dimension.

This wasn't Lusamine's scheme anyways. The Nihelgo made a parasitic symbiotic relationship with Lusamine, releasing some sort of toxins in her, in which gave Nihelgo, or as it's called by UB force, Symbiote took her knowledge and in the process the toxins made her go insane, we can learn this from one of the games' rotom-dex. What!? Just wanted to add to the silverkingdomdude. Make a little bit more sense.
