I personally think this is the best in the series. The presentation from the beginning to the end is just unreal for a pokemon game, heck even a Nintendo game in general. I love the mysterious things happening in this game. Tho I didn't play the DS games yet. I played explorers of time for like 3 hours and it didn't hook me like super. But I will play through it soon.
@@nindieboy4194 I very strongly recommend Explorers of Sky then. It's an upgraded version of time/darkness with a lot more content. It's also widely considered the best in the series, especially regarding the story. Even if you started time, I recommend switching if you can.
I don't understand why PMD is so underrated in media landscape. Nearly every game in the series has metacritic of 50-70 max and the user scores are like 80-90 (what I think is more reasonable). Maybe the rogue lite gameplay didn't hit with media? I really want to see a PMD game with more newer roguelike elements like from hades or the Splatoon 3 dlc. Like after every stage you get special abilities lr stat boosts. Similar to the things in super but more effective and special. I had a feeling most abilities you got weren't that great. I want to be crazy overpowered in a 15 staged dungeon in the end like crazy strong or fast, like doing 3 moves before the enemy does 1 move. This would be so fun. PMD has so mucb potential man.
