The banger that a Galar finale deserves 👏👏👏 (Also, I know WHY he wasn't included in the visuals and I totally get it, but sucks that we couldn't get a little visual salute for my boy Piers in this)
True, but on the plus side, Piers gets his own unique theme song when you fight him for the first time; no other gym leader has had that up to this point.
@@d4rksonic474 Technically true, but you're also fighting Giovanni that first time in a capacity outside of his gym leader role (ie: as the boss of Team Rocket); we don't find out until the end of the final gym that he's also a gym leader, so the theme's going to be different for the Team Rocket boss fight because it's hiding the plot twist. When we do fight him as a gym leader, he gets the same theme as everyone else. I should maybe rectify my sentence to say that Piers is the only gym leader who has a unique theme when you fight him as a gym leader for the first time.
It's kinda weird that other generations' gym battles take place in secluded rooms without spectators*. For all its rough edges, SwSh conveyed the spectacle and excitement that had previously only been seen in the anime. Dynamaxing (and fighting gym leaders' Dynamaxed 'mons) is damn fun on a first-time casual playthrough, and that matters more than competitive play anyday. *technically Roxie and Elesa in Gen 5 are exceptions.
Yeah, the theme and the chanting and the spectacle is great :D going back to small scale stuff in SV makes the crowd in that games music feel out of place though :0
Game wasnt that bad as everyone says.... it wasnt great either. However... Scarlet and Violet are absolute frigging blasts.... the first "real good Pokemon game" since ORAS. But man.... one thing i give to swsh... the gym leader battles and themes was the best out of the whole mainline.... it finally felt like it should , like in the anime.
I adore Galar, I had a great time with the games, the gym Battles in particular really felt amazing. I'm really hoping Paldea has some sort of awesome stadium for the Championships.
Quick fan theory: I like to think that Gordie’s Dad/Melony’s husband or BD, was the original Fire-Type Gym Leader before Kabu. I just like the idea of Fire and Ice joining together to create a rock/mineral/gem, but as it turns out Gordie resembles his father more maybe and that’s his ace is a Fire/Rock type.
When I first saw Allister's G-Max Gengar in the 4th gym battle (I played Shield btw) I was absolutely amazed and horrified about how easily it could swallow me whole. Also the beat drop on Allister literally made me fall out of my seat. Great remix for a great song.
One of the hardest pokemon songs out, thank you GlitchxCity and CatchDalgo for this amazing remix! Can't wait to see what you cook up once Gen 9 drops!!
This gym battle song is definitely the best one yet, and this remix is absolute fire 🔥 The new Scarlet/Violet gym song sounds like its also gonna be dope. Can't wait to hear your remix for that one :3 Awesome remix! ❤
Just randomly stumbled onto this Video and love the Gym Battle them in Galar by far. I would literally get out of my chair and do the Zangoose dance. Oh that's the name of a dance I love doing by moving like Zangoose in XD Gale of Darkness. Also Nessa and Bea best girls and I'm going to miss them.
From the little I've heard in SV preview playthrough, the Gym Battle theme is no where near Galar's epic one. I'm kinda disappointed as Galar raised Gym Battles to a whole new level with extreme stakes. Now we're back to "old" gym battles. :"(
I havent seen any footage of Milo using Gigantamax Appletun/Flapple before. Is that in the championship part of the game where you rebattle some of the gym leaders?
One last salute to my favorite generation of gym leaders and gym battles. Galar wasn't perfect, but I can still say with confidence that I enjoyed it. o7
