I’m surprised that Tyranitar didn’t get a Gigantimax form since there was a giant Tyranitar in the Pokéstar Studios In Black and White 2 that resembled Godzilla. Out of all the Pokemon to choose from, this would have been the most obvious and well suited choice for Tyranitar. Wouldn’t it? What a missed opportunity.
So freaking sick of the Charizard line getting stuff that other starter lines don’t. It’s turned from my favorite starter line into my least favorite line.
Marketing is a hell of a drug for franchises as big as Pokemon, all new Pokemon are designed to fulfill any of these: relatable to city kids, plush viable, action figure viable, iconography-nostalgia exploitable.
what still urks me is the fact that pikachu and eevee get gigantamax forms when, every other pokemon follows a pretty strict rule of the final evolution only being able to gigantamax, just because they're mascots doesnt mean they should be a biological exception of this rule, it just makes me sad ;_;
joe bob well pikachu and meowth doesn’t make sense how ever eevee sorta does. Since only certain Pokémon can have gigantamax forms it would be a lot harder and more difficult to design and code all eeveelutons into the program. So I can see why they went with eevee and not eevee’s evolutions.
@@dapledrawz693 ya'know by a space point of view, that makes sense, but from lore it still doesnt make much sense, imo while i love eevee they didnt need to give it OR its evolutions gigantamax forms, i mean the newest pokemon game with it's main purpose being to show off the switches power and they didn't even add ONE new eeveelution, alot of stuff ain't addin up.
Yeah, I dunno why they are made that way. Gmax Pikachu is based on old form Pikachu from the past, maybe from Red and Blue Version video game or old comics of Pokémon in 90’s.
can we all just take a moment to respect the fact that this man has caught each and every single pokémon and has not only completed the regular pokedex but has also caught each and every single shiny in the game, hats off to you man
At least Dynamaxing is more fair and fun then mega’s Mega’s Get 100 base points, (sometimes) a better ability and stay for an entire match but only certain mons could mega. Dynamax no base points increased (except double HP), no ability changes and only three turns (less if you switch out) and available for all residents for galar.
M ray yes, but now charizard and gengar have both Mega’s and gigantimax right ... so how would they implement that. Yes they could have not given them g-Max’s but then ttar, charizard and Gengar could mega and/or Dynamax and then they would be busted af or am I really that wrong according to you?
@@spooksspookie9334 The solution is simple: Don't give anyone gigamax and make the gigamax the new mega (kingler, garbodor, snorlax, ect.). Dinamax for all the pokemon, no one more special than others. But of course, it's a game for kids, that's why they use nostalgia (gen1 always getting love, am I right?).

@@Wal363 to be honest I personally still accept the fact that kalos starters didn't get mega evos since in XY no gen 6 pokemons have mega evos, but in SWSH most of those who got gigantamax were gen 1 and GEN 8 pokemons but why the heck gen 8 starters doesn't get included in the gen 8 pokemons who have gigantamax forms, and I feel like those pokemons were given a gigantamax form so all of the important characters (except for piers since he hates dynamaxing) have 1 gigantamax pokemons.

Ngl I was really excited about a lot of these, including Garbodor! I’m not sure why but I love Garbodor’s gigantamax, it reminds of the blob from Tasty Planet.
