Lillie: the way you battle, it's similar to the tactics of someone I knew long ago... Show me if the two of you really are the same!

While battling her, you notice that she only has five Pokémon. Upon defeating her last one, an Ultra Wormhole opens up in the sky and out comes either Solgaleo in Sword or Lunala in Shield. Either way, when they approach her, Lillie reaches out touches their head, and upon doing so, she realizes it is her old friend Nebby, coming to offer their help, which she accepts and the battle continues.

After becoming Champion and completed all of Isle of Armor's quests, you can travel to Motostoke where you'll meet a tall blond woman. "Alola! You seem quite nice. Can you show me how to get to Windon?" "Oh who am I? I'm Lillie, a humble tourist from the Alola region." "Why do I wanna go to Windon? My brother wanted an autograph from the Champion in the region." "Oh my? You're the Champion? I thought his name was Leon." "Ah I see I see. I see a look in your eye. Mind if I battle you?" "Thank you for accepting, I'll be sure to deliver a great battle!" Lillie will have 3 Pokemon with her when you battle her the first time. A Ribombee, a Clefable and a Comfey. "A super effective move! As expected of a Champion!" "Just one left. Okay, let's push forward together!" "It seems I have lost. Congratulations Champion." "That passion reminds me of a certain friend. They are why I stand before you as the person I am now." "So, can you take me to Windon?" After a brief cutscene, you can travel to Windon's Battle Tower. When you enter, you can see Lillie talking to Leon. "Ah *Player Name*, here for the Battle Tower? Feel free to approach any of the staff. Also..." "This here is Lillie, Alola's Champion and Vice-President of the Aether Foundation there." "Oh? You've already met her?" "Mhm, it has been quite the treat fighting *Player Name*." "What? You already battled *Player Name*??? I wish I was there to see it." "Don't worry, it wasn't much Leon." "Nonsense Lillie, I'm sure it was incredible regardless." "Such enthusiasm for battle, I'm sure Professor Kukui will like you." "Then send him my regards haha! Well, you said you wanted something?" "Indeed, my brother wanted to your autograph." "Hm... Oh I know... How about this. *Player Name* You up for a little challenge?" "You are gonna be part of this too Lillie. If you want that autograph..." Leon does the Charizard Pose. "You are gonna have to go straight to the top." "See you guys up there!" Leon then runs off with enthusiasm. Lillie stares dumbfounded. "Geez, that was rather rude. However, I can't deny the fact it sounds rather fun. So you up for it? You don't have to go immediately, I'll be hanging around Windon." Till this little sidequest is complete, you can battle alongside Lillie in the Battle Tower. When in the battle tower, Lillie will use Comfey, Clefable and Rimbombee, focusing on supporting your team. "We won! Nice going partner." "That was amazing. I never thought I would battle a fellow Champion." "Now about that autograph..." "Ah right! What do you want me to sign it on." "What about this?" "Certainly!" Leon will sign something and hand it back to Lillie. "It was fun battling you Leon, and it was great having a partner like *Player Name*. I ought to be going now. My trip back to Alola is soon." "Have a good one Lillie!" If you travel to Wedgehurst, you can find Lillie outside the train station. "Ah *Player Name*! Here to see me off? Thank you!" "Actually, I was hoping to see you one more time." "I never got to battle you seriously. It took me a bit to get everyone familiar with the place, but I'm up for a serious battle now." "Okay! Come on team! Let's go!" Lillie will have 5 Pokemon. A Ribombee, Clefable, Granbull, Togekiss and Alolan Ninetails. "Let's go all out!" "Down to one, okay. Let me show you Alola's strength!" When her last Pokemon is defeated, a Ultra Wormhole appears in the sky. If you have Sword Solgaleo will appear while Shield will have Lunala. Lillie will stare in shock before realizing it is Nebby. "Okay Nebby! Let's go!" Once you defeat Nebby, Lillie will smile before giving Nebby a gentle pat. "That was amazing *Player Name*. Here, have this." Lillie will have you an Island Challenge Amulet. "This is an Island Challenge Amulet. It's not a real one of course. In Alola, it's tradition for children who reach 11 to attempt the challenge." "A good friend of mine did the challenge and in a funny twist of events, became Alola's first Champion." "They have however left Alola a few years ago and I was put into the position, after beating all my friends in battle of course. If you ever have the chance, come visit Alola. As champion I'm sure you'll pass the trials brilliantly." "Bzzt! Train leaving the Galar Region is now ready to board. Train leaving the Galar Region is now ready to board." "My how time flies. I must be going on. Alola to you *Player Name*!" Once you see Lillie off, you can visit Sonia after beating the Crown Tundra to learn that mysterious portals have suddenly popped up at different stadiums, with the first one being in Motostoke. You can travel to Motostoke to learn that Ultra Beasts have invaded Galar and Dynamax'd. Solgaleo/Lunala will suddenly appear and battle the threat alongside you temporarily. After you defeat the Motostoke Ultra Beast, you can find Solgaleo waiting at the Wild Area in the morning and Lunala at night. You then get to catch them. The Ultrabeasts cannot be caught while Dynamax'd, but once they have been defeated you can find one prowling the Wild Area but only after you talk to Sonia about them.

"You remind me of a great friend a long time ago in Alola. I always looked up to that friend, which is why I travelled to become a trainer. I have matured and evolved, I am no longer the little shy girl I was. I still wish Nebby was here with me, to see how much I changed... Challenger, show me your strength, show me if you are like my great friend. Show me if you're worthy of becoming a Pokemon champion!"

I've never even thought about this possibility until coming across this video, but Lillie reappearing as a champion would actually be a really cool way to wrap up her character. Also I have to say this music is fantastic! Feels emotional yet intense, fitting for a suprise final boss encounter with an old friend.

Lillie said she was going to Kanto right? Imagine if they made the Johto remakes for switch and you get to the Elite 4, only to find it’s Lillie that’s champion and not Lance. How awesome would that be?

I wish Pokémon acknowledges their previous characters into newer games. They make such amazing and intriguing characters but never use to their full potential.

Lillie: In the past I was viewed as a doll by my mother, I was shy, and I didn't like Pokemon battles... I thought they were to cruel and dangerous for Pokemon, but then I met them, always striving to be better along with their Pokemon, they as well as their Pokemon looked so happy... I wanted to be like that to, I-I wanted to be of help to them not be the one that needed help... I even tried to pretend battling with Nebby, but I was seen by one of them and felt so embarrassed, but I did want to join in, I wanted to battle alongside them, but I was to scared to... But now it's different, after that incident I decided I will no longer be under anyone's shaddow, I will fight for myself, my Pokemon, and for them. They risked it all to help me save Nebby, and undo my mother's mistakes, so now I'll make sure I'm strong enough so when the time comes I'll stand alongside the both of them not as someone that will sheer for them, but as someone who can fight with them... So Challenger... Show me just how strong you really are, so I can become stronger!

Lillie (Rematch): Ah, [player], welcome back! It's always nice to see a familiar face. Speaking of familiar faces, you just missed one of my old friends. He's the professor from Alola. He's a bit of a wild personality, but he's passionate about his work... and his friends. Seeing him really brought me back, and reminded me why I became a trainer in the first place. ... Y'know I haven't talked to my friends back home in a while. I wonder how Gladion is doing with the Foundation. Or what Nebby is up to now. And I wonder where his trainer... ... Oh! Sorry! I got lost to my own thoughts for a moment. I get like that sometimes where I reminisce on the past. But enough of that, time to focus on the present. Your here for a battle with the Champion, right? Then let's get going! Let's see how much the bond between ourselves and our Pokemon have grown!

The first few seconds are epic with headphones on. The sound going from right to left to right in a really smooth way sounds very nice.

The old version of this theme makes me think of Lillie rising above her doubts and fears to find the determination to face her own role model. This version gives me the feeling of a Lillie who has overcome innumerable difficult battles as a Champion, and these experiences have molded who she is today.

They should make a tournament as a post game in one pokemon game like the battle tree but it’s like a future arc where you fight people like Lillie or Wally when they grown up to be god tier or maybe as a long shot they should do that for the past player characters in a fighting red kinda fashion

Lillie is so lovely. And I dont just mean physically. But as a character. Her desire to bring her family back together is so sweet and inspiring. And the lengths she goes to see this through put many heroic actions to shame. Definitely my favorite character in Pokemon to date

I love how it isn’t too intense yet it has some kind of chilly vibe to the song that makes the it somewhat triumphant and intense anyway.

This has no right being this good. Legitimately one of my top 5 Pokemon battle themes and it's fanmade. The part at 2:13 gives me chills every single time

Not usually a fan of fanmade themes and remixes and stuff but I actually like this, if there was a game based on you being a trainer 10 years in the future and Lillie had moved away after the whole incident with her mother, this could actually be a really good battle theme... I can just imagine her being similar to Cynthia, having a diverse team with alolan ninetails and talking to you during the story, while telling little scripts about how a trainer she was friends with inspired her to become a full fledged trainer and move there to give her mother space after her recovery (and after you become champion giving an alolan vulpix that has a special feature like how steven gives a metagrossite on the beldum, maybe a new gigantamax or whatever they decide to add to replace dynamax like what they did with megas and zmoves). Unfortunately as cool as that would be I think she said she would stay with her mother to keep her company or something.

You hear the door close behind you as you enter Champion's room. And there she is. She's sitting on a glass throne, leaning casually against one armrest, twirling one of her Pokéballs in her hand. She's so familiar. Long, blonde hair cascading down her narrow back. Green eyes with that certain intelligent look in them. White clothes that would suit the style of an aristocratic lady. Which she basically is. And yet she smiles that familiar kindly smile you're so familiar with. "Hello, trainer," she says, standing up. With a few graceful, light steps, she strides into the middle of the room, enlarging the Pokeball in her hand as she does so. "I assume you're here to challenge me, right?" She looks at you with a look so familiar from years ago. You nod and pick up your own Pokéball. You grin a little. Time for a battle. This little story came to my mind when I heard this music :D

This is giving me false memories of a battle I’ve never had before and I’m all for it

You capture the "Pokémon feeling" and still makes it unique like it could be inside the games while you would fight a grown up Lillie champion. Good work! 4 months ago I was blessed with seeing this track in my newsfeed, since then I subscribed to your channel and I keep finding myself returning here and to other great songs that your created but if I’m being honest this along the Zapdos theme really stands out as a perfect eleven of ten

I don't really expect it to happen the very next generation, they could milk it where by like Gen 10 or 12 she reaches the position of a champion of Alola. And in between you get that "character development" people overly praise by her simply battling semi competently, to averagely competently, with dialouge of her being confident and giving advice. She technically has the most potential to draw in newer fans that simply want to see her react and act to situations. Could even be given "Special episodes" where she's the point of focus character in the anime as Ash does his whatever.

This is my new favorite fan made pokemon theme

In comparison to your original version, the theme seems to feel more experienced. Literally. Each note has weight and energy that gets the listener feeling the rush of sounds, even with the shifting differences. The drumming, the electric parts, the flute/wind instruments, piano section, it all has a flow to it that makes this theme different but still very pleasant to me personally to listen to. The artist did an amazing job too. This picture works really well with your new arrangement to your theme! Your theme here reminds me of a second form boss battle. I really enjoy what you created, both your original theme and this newer theme!

It should be a tradition that Champions and Elite 4 should be characters that you met in previous games who’ve matured and grew. Iris being the new Unova Champion was such a “Holy crap!” moment, the same with Wallace and Lance. Didn’t mind it in Alola, since the theme for that one was Alola’s best. But Lillie would have been an explosive reveal for the Champion.

When you conquer your phobia a little too hard.

Imagine seeing her again after years and THIS is the track that plays! I do actually imagine a diolague exchange. You enter the Champions room and you see not Lance or Red, but Lillie as she walks to the battlefield, Pokéball in hand (If Ash or Elio or Gladion highly unlikely) She says with a light hearted smile "Greetings, Trainer (If Ash, Elio or Gladion she would say "Its been a while...") I shall show you what I have broken through to get here!" As the trainer (If Ash, Elio or Gladion) says "Im proud of you." And this track plays as the battle starts.

The idea of ​​Lillie as the league champion is so cool that Game Freak didn't even think about that. XD

Imagine doing a two-on-one vs. Lillie and Gladion. If she runs Fairy and he runs Dark, you’d have to be concerned about trying to attack him with Fighting, since Fairy is strong against it, and going after her with Steel or Poison, since Dark now hits Steel for neutral, and many Fairy and Dark types learn Psychic moves.
