I’m pretty sure they work with it after they film the initial putting-it-on. Watch the part at 8:00, and watch what happens to the yellow part of the eye. They record them squishing it down, but then there’s a jumpcut to a part where it shows they obviously worked on the eye off-camera.

If you think about it. Sobble's line is about growth and the life cycle. Sobble, a young child. Often cries a lot. Drizzile is the broody teen phase and Inteleon is an adult l, all grown up with a job. I like the theme.
