Since a comment already stated something similar for a third evo for the to grass snakes I thought of an ability for the line. I don’t know what to call it but the pokemon starts off as either grass or ground type forms and switches between to the two when hit by a super effective move Ex. Grass Form + fire/flying/posion/bug = Ground Form Or Ground Form + Grass/Water = Grass Form This ability also makes it immune or to any resistant to types outside of the required types, now make it a bulwark of defense and stall your enemies to death

Team Rocket is my favorite. They weren’t necessarily concerned about doing their job as much as they were running away from their past lives, which is why they consistently went after a Pikachu of all things. …But also kinda right, b/c Ash’s Pikachu is probably the strongest Pikachu in existence.
