Especially when Ash, Missy and Pikachu was looking down at Brock battle making sure he’s going to be ok. I almost shed tears when hearing this soundtrack again
It's strange how I usually consider US soundtracks to be inferior to their Japanese counterparts, but Ralph Shuckett did an excellent job here. The US soundtrack in this case trumps the Japanese soundtrack.

I completely agree. The same goes for Pokémon 2000 the power of one. The Zapdos scne and more scenes are far better then the original one, Although I am a huge Japan fan and understand Japanese at JLPT 3 level.
I really love how the tracks of Spell of the Unown reacted with each hit and enviroment, it truly gave it a unique atmosphere, it even surpasses the original Lord of the Crystal Tower sountrack easily.
Well lets not forget that Molly's been Through a lot she lost her Mother and now her Dad and all she wants is a new Mom so her family could feel complete again

Yup, actually them not using Poliwhirl here is very weird for me because in the actual episodes it was Misty's most used Pokemon, it got much more battle and screen time than anything else Misty had. Except Togepi obviously, in case of screen time.
I could totally hear the sarcasm in Brock's voice when he told Molly she was a great trainer. I honestly hated her. She was such a brat. But there wouldn't of been a story without her, so I put up with it :)
Wow, you're mean for not knowing what Molly's gone through, and no Brock's compliment wasn't sarcasm as he saw Molly's potential, even if she was using Illusion Pokemon.
Brock had started focusing on Zubat more during the Johto saga, hence why it evolved all the way up to a Crobat. Brock is a strategic thinker, he started out with one of his weaker Pokemon to test the strength of the "fake Pokemon", and from there he chose to go with a diverse team of Vulpix, and the Onix, hoping that by keeping Molly from being able to get into a specific pattern he might get lucky and stall her longer. You have to remember, Brock was only battling first as a way to stall Molly, and give Ash more time. Same as why Misty then battled second, it was all about grinding for as much time for Ash to climb up the tower as possible.
Ok just wondering/ I know Pineko and Geodude isn't Brocks Best and Brightest pokemon ever but couldn't he have used them to stall more time? Same goes with Misty's Psyduck. Also when she battled Ash for the Cascade Badge. She used a Starmie. what happened to it?
Besides there's a persistent rumor that Misty's Staryu was actually stronger than her Starmie, considering even when she had them both she had a clear preference for Staryu
Actually Misty started with Goldeen most likely because they were battling underwater, and Goldeen in theory would have an advantage in such an arena. Misty had no way of knowing Molly would summon Kingdra of all things. She chose Staryu for the same reason, it has an advantage battling specifically in the water. Poliwhirl, while yes it is a Water type, it's a Water type that usually battles on land, not underwater, at least in the Anime.
