I will only use the pokemon obtained within the game, but to their full potential. I'm no expert on pokemon battling, so expect mistakes, but we should be able to clear this.

This is it, the hardest colosseum challenge in the game! For this final challenge, I replaced Entei with a Togetic. Follow Me is insanely useful!

Gotta love how this guy shows off the "depth" of double battles by throwing out a Kyogre with Water Spout and a Latios with Soul Dew. What sublime strategy you have, good sir. And as if that wasn't scummy enough, his Kyogre's held item is Brightpowder (and his Groudon's is Lax Incense ffs).

Do the final trainers have perfect stats? Wondering if I need to play thru Sapphire and soft reset for a good Kyogre, or if I can get away with my average one I caught in Emerald several years ago, w/o below average IVs?

I know they do in XD, but dunno for this one. It wouldn't surprise me if they did.

They seem to. Latios get 302 hp which can imply perfect IV + 4 Hp Ev. Latias have 301 HP which means perfect IV with 0 EV. This may imply that there is some form of non random répartition of EV with perfect IVs. Considering how ridiculously hard it was to get a perfect IV team in gen 3, and how undeveloped the competitive scene was at the time, this is quite brutal. And on top of that they added soul dew for extra spice.

For the very last fight with Infin/Inity, all of their Pokemon have perfect IVs and trained EVs (usually maxed in speed and Attack). I know this because I tested my own Latios against his Latios/Latias and it ended up being a speed tie. For the other trainers? They come close but probably not.

I'm gonna catch a Suicune and have it learn those same moves, AND take me through Pokémon Battle Revolution [paired with my fav Rayqvaza] tho' what nature and EVs did you have Suicune under?

@@Hawlo oh! Smart. A long long time ago I caught a Suicune with some good IVs and made it learn these same moves. It got me pretty far but it just didnt seem as great as yours. So which is why I'm going for round 2 to catch a better 'cune and go for those EVs. Thanks, man👍🏼👍🏼

Sometimes even attempting to use Icy Wind once can be difficult, but it's definitely worth it if you can pull it off.

@@Hawlo Hey thanks. Tried it, it worked. This took several tries. But I chose paralyzing using Jumpluff's stun spore. While Combined Groudon's drought effect, and Jumpluff's Chlorophyll.

When I clear those Colosseums I only get the "Champ!" light up, I don't get the rotating green stars. How do you get them?

i'm wondering about this as well, my game is not in English so I thought my version just wasn't meant to display them but now your comment has got me wondering. I didn't find anything on Google, perhaps you have to get a perfect win on all the battles, without losing any pokemon at all? I wouldn't say so since I definitely did that in the easier colosseums.

@@HiHowAreYou2012 I think maybe it has to do with completing the Colosseums with only transferred Pokémon? I've completed all the Colosseums with only Colosseum in-game Pokémon so far, maybe I'll return to this game later and try transferring from RSE and see what happens. Meanwhile, if you've done it or try that first than me let me know the feedback ;)

The AI acted clearly strange at 36:30. Dont know why fire punching houndoom. Anyways you have assambled a great team made of colosseum catchables

Because Houndoom has Flash Fire. What doesn't make sense to me is deciding to use Fire Punch while Houndoom is protecting itself.

Is this because of the ilegal Murkrow? I can't remember if I fought it or not, but I think it should be in the Under colosseum.

I couldn't find smeargle either, if you still have movesets and items for them, is it possible for you to put them in a comment?

@@charlesat107 Oh, sorry I read your comment wrong. Smeargle can use Spore to put foes to sleep, then use a Belly Drum and Baton Pass combo to pass the attack boost to someone else. Murkrow wants Drill Peck and Shadow Ball for damage. Perish Song and Mean Look wouldn't be a bad idea, either. Anything goes with items, you can try Salac Berry to boost speed in a pinch since neither aren't that fast.

@@mulyabagussetiawan4149 In Gen 3, attacks were either physical or special based on their type. For example, Dragon Claw was a special attack, not a physical one since all dragon type attacks were automatically special. This changed in Gen 4.
