This feels like something you'd here watching Elesa walk down the runway but I guess it could also be like Clair's entrance theme too like in some alternate reality where the gym leaders appear after you get through the gym instead of waiting there. Or if Clair was a rival and this is her encounter theme. Idk. Either way you interpret it, one think stays constant and that is that this sounds incredible.
When I hear it I just picture a jumpcut of Gold making it through Claire's gym, getting denied the badge then annoyedly surfing in the Dragon's Den on loop.

I always thought this melody was weird in the game. To me sounds like a Sonic or Street of Rage music. Really good music, but weird compared to the other Pokemon melodies.
