12 years old huh... Still remember listening to this for the first time almost as soon as it came out. It will always have a special place in my heart as a remix, always will be the best of them all due to nostalgia reasons. Never change Cynthia. Please give me the feeling of dread with your team again just like you did all those years ago for the first time. Chomp vs Chomp. Just like old times
+SidTheEpic Emerald will forever be my #1 GBA game hell when i finally got to play Gen 4 via DS Emulator (Platinum) i loved it as well sadly i never finished it tho but one day i will like the previous 3
Poopsikle about to do it now all pokemon are level 51 and 52 weavile 51 drapion 51 rapidash 51 luxray 50 torterra 52 garchomp 51 just sweeping the elite four xD
Weavile would be your smartest choice of pokemon against garchomp considering it is an ice type and garchomp is heavily weak to ice considering it is a Ground/Dragon type, so keep Weavile alive!
Been listening to this remix since I was just 10 years old. I miss Pokemon. I felt so old the other day, when I got on my beloved Platinum to see if the online still worked. I went to the GTS, where I used to go all the time and even play under the covers of my bed so my parents wouldn't see just so I could trade and battle. When I entered the GTS and the music played, nostalgia hit me hard. Then, when I went to the Nintendo Wi-Fi screen and it said it was over, I felt so terrible. I wasn't surprised, but it still made me feel just... just so old.
MegaKosan Sapphire was my first too :D Platinum was my favorite, for the same reason. Went to the National Championship, now I've got so many legendaries that I haven't finished transferring them. I have 7-8 boxes of them xD None are hacked, either. I can't wait until I get a 3DS, I want to play the remake of Sapphire so badly.
SnakeEyesRaw The remake is AWESOME! Thzough I skipped XY and so all the new XY-features are basically the new ORAS-features for me :D BTW: I spent a WHOLE DAY without even pausing once, just transferring from Diamond/SoulSilver to Black to Pokemon Bank to Alpha Sapphire -.-
Honestly, I've never played the 4th gen games. I also don't see what's the big deal about the music. I don't hate her and I definitely don't think of her as a disappointment. I just don't know her well enough to think of her as "The best"
+RasenRendan X I feel you. I remember my first deck. I remember seeing the competition of the beta testers to name the seventh gym leader. (no i wasn't part of it, i just lived with a beta tester)
There are three reason why Cynthia is my favorite Champion: 1.)She's the 1st female Champion. 2.)Garchomp is my favorite Dragon-Type Pokémon. 3.)Black is my favorite color.
The sounds of my childhood. I can safely say Gen IV is still my favorite Pokemon generation. I don't have my copies of Diamond or Platinum anymore, but I still know I had *over 1,100 hours* between the two games. To compare, my average for the other generations is around 60-ish hours.
Samuel Petersen Don't be ashamed. Hacking is how I taught myself a large amount of what I know about Pokemon's deeper mechanics today. Hell, I had a Regigigas with *Speed Boost* for its ability, met in the first route of the game at Lv. 2. Funnily enough, by using the Wild Pokemon Modifier which allowed me to obtain said Regigigas, I also ran into a Kyogre that ended up being *legit shiny* (as in, I had no codes affecting that; it just happened by inherent chance).
MasoGamer Kewl. Maybe you should try out Parental Bond Regigigas (jk don't do that, it's not cool) I have a feeling Stance Change would crash your game
Please don't ever take this iconic theme down or your channel either. I've been here since I was 10, and your amazing remixes still give me life. This Cynthia theme being my favorite too!
Compared to weak-ass Diantha, Cynthia is the definition of awesome. Could easily one shot Diantha entire team without EXP Share, whereas Cynthia Garchomp would one shot half of your, if you werent to careful.
Cynthia's Garchomp did a lot of damage of course, but when I was using Empoleon's good defense (even though part Steel type) and growl to lower Garchomp's attack down, so Earthquake would be weakened down. Otherwise, her team is pretty good, since I was playing Pokémon Diamond blind
Still the greatest Cynthia theme remix to this day, even after all those years. It's really weird to realise that I have been listening to this remix for over half of my life now.
Cynthia is tied with Steven Stone for best champ in my opinion. They're the only two that really do anything outside of battle you for the title. The others are either just to trip you up (Blue/Gary) or to be beaten within minutes (Alder/Iris/Diantha).
Lance was just really a replacement for Gary/Blue. He was still as easy to beat as he was in the Elite Four. Wallace, although still a good champion, was far easier to beat than Steven.
This song makes me have so many nostalgiac emotions in myself. GOD DAMNIT CYNTHIA PUT THE MOTHER FUCKING GARCHOMP AWAY! What? i never said they were good emotions. But cynthia is my favorite champion after N, who technically is the champion
I defeated cynthia with this team, Infernape lvl 49 Roserade lvl 49 Garchomp lvl 52 Weavile lvl 52 Floatzel lvl 51 Staraptor lvl 50 When i defeated her i was so happy. P.s. Am i the only one who had trouble with her milotic?
ot me cuz I was rushing threw the game to fast and didn't get my levels good and I barely got threw the elite four but Cynthia bet my ass and I kept turning it off cuz I didn't wanna start over
As much as I enjoy listening to Cynthia’s theme from both original on DS and remake on Switch, this remix will always be my favourite and a special place in my heart especially the artwork of her Japanese name. 🥰
I said this on the Primal Dialga remix, 12 years ago, I would be 4, seeing people get nostalgic about such works of art as this, makes me miss my childhood, playing imaginary pokemon behind the school library with the only 2 friends and one of there friends....god damn, if you get nostalgic from this I envy you
Ah, I remember the day I defeated Cynthia well- We were both down to our last pokemon. It was Twigy (my Torterra) versus Cynthia's Garchomp. Mine was pretty low while hers still had over half of its health left. Garchomp used an attack which Ifelt sure would end me. Fortunately, i didn't, as it left a twig of health left. It was then Torterra's turn, and I had chosen earthquake, although I didn't think it would hit, and even if it did, I didn't think it would be enough to finish him. I watched intently as the screen said "Twigy used Earthquake. Then finally... BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!! I felt my heart skipped a beat when the screen showed that not only did it hit, but it was super effective, and did enough damage to take him down! And that, my friends, was legendary...
I overtrained everything to some absurd level like 60 before taking them on. I think my only pokemon that fainted throughout the entire Four was Luxray on Lucien, and that was because Thunder Fang missed thrice.
here's a lesson that the majority of you haven't thought: Just because you like or hate something doesn't mean others should. You can share, not force, your opinions like others would. For it's our different outlooks that can make people grow and everyone is different. For different points of view can exist for a reason: to learn about one another and to make each other decent.
Cynthia is the best most beutifulest and smartest and strongest chapion EEEVVVVRRRR. she is dark mysterious and thats what people like about her. she should be in future games
so, am i the only one who had more trouble on her spiritomb than her garchomp? i mean, damn, at the time, i didnt even know what type it was and realized it was damn tanky as well lol
i one hitted all her pokemon untill her garchomp which cleared my team even my garchomp e.e . i rage quited and deleted all my data lmfao. d/p where the hardest pokemon games to beat in my opninion.
I only used her spiritomb to place 6 dragon dance with my Gyarados. After this nothing in her team could resist lol So yes spiritomb is hard to kill but he didn't do that much damage, just use it.
Huh, I sucked ass at Pokemon back when I fought her. I only really focused on my starter and Dialga for levelling. So I fought her with my level 88 Torterra and my level 65 Dialga. The rest of my team was filled with Pokemon from victory road. Btw this was diamond so her Pokemon were much higher levels than in platinum, dat lv66 Garchomp tho.
+Cian Bottomley-Mason That's nothing. Back when I played the original Red for the first time, I had bought it used and it was already beaten for me. So I went to Cinnabar Island randomly and put all my Pokémon in a PC, tried to teach Magikarp how to Surf, so on and so forth. I didn't know how to withdraw Pokémon so I restarted my game. (I was 4. ) Worst decision ever.
I remember playing diamond when I was sooo little. Like I catched an unknown with a masterball not realizing what kind of ball it was. Also instead of catching dialga I focused on killing it. Same with you though I focused on my starter a lot and since I hated it's evolution I never evolved it. XD
I beat her first try a long time ago when I was a little kid, super hard as hell, I was left with only a red bar Empoleon. That's the only Pokemon I remember having on my time
