Every single legendary Pokemon location in Pokemon Emerald for the Game Boy Advance. 00:00 Unlocking the Regi Trio 5:18 Regirock 6:20 Regice 7:38 Registeel 8:46 Rayquaza 10:46 Kyogre 13:00 Groudon 14:53 Latios/Latias
rse were insane. For those who didnt know, the texts on the walls for the regi are braille and when you bought the game, a guide for translating braille could be found in the game's box
It was Christmas day and i received Emerald as present (as a kid i didn’t pay much attention to all the stuff in the pack, so i didn’t know about the braille code book, i just took the game and put in my gameboy) i pretty much passed all my free days off school on it for my first run, i remember i was playing under bed sheets so i don’t get caught playing late at night or in the morning (all those hours trying to catch my all time fav kyogre❤). When i got back at school i learned from a friend that was exploring Ruby secrets that there were legendary Regi, i had a blind classmate at that time and my teacher (with her support teacher) made us learn the braille (writing and reading), so when me and my friend went for Regis hunting we tried to de-code those wall inscriptions and it was so cool, gettin infos on our own and living the game at full, no backsits, no help or guides
Back a these times I only had the cardridge, I had Internet but still searching for the braille and learning it instead of the full tutorial for the regis
I remember asking my parents what it was, then going to look up barille in a physical encyclopedia to figure out what it said! Definitely my best gaming memory
Where is Mew, Ho-oh and Lugia? And Latias/Latios with soul dew? OH now i remember Gamefreak never made those possible to get for us mortal beings that lived nowhere near those fancy events or in Japan.
I grew up playing with a corrupted pokemon emerald that restarted to a new game every time I beat the elite four. All I had and played with was that one game. Those were sad yet beautiful times 🥲 now a decade and a half later I bought (working fine) gen3 trio and gonna beat the elite four without the fear of all my hard work being erased 😁 and hopefully capture the legendaries in the video. Thank you!
there was also an explanation from the wall in the ancient cave in braille code. "Put wailord first and relicanth last and use dig" was the traduction. I did this at 7 years old without the help of internet nor others. The braille traduction was at the last page of the manual of the game inside the box. I was in heaven when i find those regis alone!
The memories ... I loved the GBA games especially this one, I only remember encountering Rayquaza, but I am not really sure if it was the same location as in the video. Great video 👏
Btw if you fainted ANY of the Legendaries they WILL NOT respaw n. In order to get them back you will need to restart the ENTIRE game. I learnt this the hard way with KYOGRE
@@iwouldsetmyselfonfire4u I tried to do that before interacting with the pokemon as I would be shitting bricks if my pokeballs ended and it did not get caught.
If you're looking for a specific natures for them you can save before entering the room, then restart if you didn't get what you wanted. I got took like 30 resets to get the Groudon I wanted but only 2 for the Kyogre.
This is freaky; I’ve been toying with the idea of buying two GameBoy SPs with a view of collecting S/R/E and FR/LG. My characters name is also always Nate so I’m taking this as my sign lol
I remember trying to get the battery in my copy replaced only for them to tell me it would be impossible and that the acid that came out of it would eventually eat the game. I was so upset.
I never did myself, but if I knew how to translate the braille, then I most likely would’ve done it. The braille literally tells you everything you need to do, including having Relicanth and Wailord in the front and back of the party, the steps you need to take, what moves you need to use, etc.
I didnt know Rayquaza was a legendary Pokemon, i did the quest and came back to sky pillar to see if Rayquaza was there, i think it was mentioned in the dialogue of the person in the quest, but i didnt read and just kept pressing A
when I was a kid, I never caught the regi's, never knew you had to go through an entire scavenger hunt type deal to unlock them, as an adult this seems complicated
Now imagine doing it when you're like 8 and having to go through internet guides (back then) that could very well be true, fake or have missing steps. No videos, no way to verify what was true or not. The only reason I knew they were real was because I had found the three rock structures and I knew what braille was thanks to having seen it on train stations, so aside the first cave I mostly went in blind and happened to find them. It wasn't so much about it being hard to figure, but about what was real or not since Jirachi seemed more likely with the white rock outside the space station
If you don't reach Groudon's/Kyogre's cave quickly enough, it will vanish and be replaced by the other. As for the Lati@s, you can also go to the Safari Zone since it allows you to changes areas inside easily. You can eventually meet them. Wobuffett with Shadow Tag to trap it or a Crobat's Mean Look it learns at L42 help keep in in battle.
@@user-om8fy2io9r think they mean if you take too long trying to get Groudon, then Groudon's cave will disappear and instead Kyogre's cave will appear somewhere in Hoenn. If you take too long to get Kyogre, Kyogre's cave will disappear and Groudon will appear somewhere in Hoenn. They will reappear when the other one vanishes until you catch them, however.
What do you mean? There is no "correct order". Even if there was...who cares? What difference does it make as long as you end up catching them all? "That Rayquaza isn't as cool because you caught it before you caught Regirock"...said nobody...at any point in time...ever. If anything they'd question why you even bothered catching the Regis LOL
I was always amazed at what you have to do to find each of the Regis. It was surprisingly very specific and I never would have known they even existed in the game or how to find them if it wasn't for the big Gameplay guidebook that came with the GBA games when they were first released. So if you didn't have it your only other option might have been to search for it on the internet and back in 2004 I don't know if there was much about it yet maybe some forums dedicated to the games but I'm sure you could at least translate the braile doing a Google Search. Amazing how old these games are and I remember playing them for the first time like it was yesterday.
I almost not complete the pokedex of Pokémon emerald missed only evolve feebas into milotic but with battery inside cardridge self not grown the super berries for feebas and evolve it
I got my Rayquaza with my Master Ball because my pokemon are level 45 to 50, but i tried to get him by Ultra Balls, it didn't work XD So i throw my Master Ball on him, only to get Kyogre and Groudon, and the Regis you say? I got all of them with Ultra Balls, even before getting Rayquaza
Now you can catch latios/as with a pokeball! Use a Pokémon with mean look and baton pass then keep using hyper potions and boom eventually you’ll catch it
Ruby and Sapphire Regis have different puzzles to open their doors. The only I remember off the top of my head is waiting in front of regice's door for a bit then pressing a again after about a minute
10:42 "It will be Level 70 when you battle it" Me who can save file in a battle and throw the Pokéball and load the saved file all over and over again: 😈😈😈
When i beat this game years ago, the only one i got was groundon that was kinda throwed at my face. I like pokemon battles but i hate puzzles and dungeon exploring so i just won the league with my trusted gardervoir
Catching the Regis family is literally way too hard than the the upper legendaries I was only Able to catch the regirock and the other two fainted being out of moves using struggle and continuous hitting with recoil
Save in front of them and restart if you fail I put them at 1hp and then in sleep state I still had to restart twice for Regice, he is the worst to catch
yea in pokemon ruby i used my golbat who new mean look it was 40 and i catch latios but in emerald when i used my golbat latios fled because in emerald latios speed is 110 and thats kinda imposible
should have included events. because can catch both latias and latios the one not roaming is on southern island wich requires eon ticket. then deoxys lugia and ho oh and mew are all catchable
I gave my claydol to the daycare and they forgot the move dig guess i got to replay a different R/S/E game for one tm. Single use tms are infuriating. 😡 Edit: nevermind they forgot earthquake.
