Mine would be Yveltal because, well, he's the destruction Pokemon...Unless of course he be friendly. If that's the case, Mewtwo would have to be the other scariest battle ever. Because Mewtwo.
OmegaEGGY Mewtwo would be a scary-ass battle in reality because he's a very angry, psychotic telekinesis-wielding genetic monstrosity. I think in terms of scale and destructive potential, though, Giratina, Yveltal, Rayquaza, and of course, Arceus, take the cake.
Knowing Rayquaza and a couple other legendary Pokémon if they were real, it would be quite scary picturing the amount of explosions from colliding attacks, nevertheless you gotta try to catch it lol ;)
I'll be honest, I vote this one #1 because of my nostalgia for this game, a close second just because how awesome it is has to be the ORAS Sky Pillar theme. Church pipe organs have a different feel to them and it just sounds majestic.
How to be epic: Step 1 - Open a window with this music. Step 2 - Open another window with "Rainy Mood" on youtube. Step 3 - Play the both at same time. Congratulations, you have an epic moment on your head!
my first reaction was ok its a tower probably a trainer up there. (goes up after raging on that one corner over 100 times) me-wait were is everyone "sees him" rip me
This theme puts shivers up your spine. The bell tolls sound like the undertaker rising above the grave, but like a Phoenix. Or more like a god. A very wrathful god.
Shit still gives me the chills to this day when I think about my first time ever fighting this thing trying to catch it. I blacked out the first time, and every time from then on, this theme has haunted me and exited me
No weak human trainers. No conceited, deluded Team Leaders. No fame-blinded Champions. No ordinary Pokemon. What stands before you... is a god. "ENTERTAIN ME, HUMAN!!!"
I remember playing this game when I was like 8, first Pokemon game that I completed and I remember soft resetting so many times just to get a shiny rayquaza
I kind of prefer this one over the new ones. Mainly because it gave you that uneasy feeling you were at the point of battling the most legendary creatures ever. The new ones just make me feel like I'm battling another trainer :p
The older pokemon games in general are the best, always, though kinda newer pokemon games were really good too pike platinum and b&w My personal favorite pokemon games are: 1) Pokemon Emerald 2) Pokemon Platinum 3) Pokemon White
Man, this theme was the spark that got me interested in music as wee lad. Straight up didnt pay attention to music until got pokemon ruby and game boy sp.
+TooEliteForYou this version of it is somewhat better then the the newer versions. it gives you an unsettling feeling and it makes you more nervous about battling oh i don't know.......... a monster that controls the damn sky
+FrostyFrost Most of the original OST is better than this remastered crap with no soul. And it's not nostalgia, the new remastered OST just sounds shallow to me
Love how you can skip almost all the beginning Trainers in emerald and save them for after you beat the game, then just throw Rayquaza at a level 4 zigzagoon some kid was so confident with XD
there i was at 10 years old i had just rushed off to skytower to stop the terrible forces groundon and kyogre to tearing the world apart with the titanic battle when i arrived the tower seemed to be unstable and the floor could fall from beneath me at any moment but i proviled now i stand here face to face with true might true power rayquaza if i could not send him to stop the fight between groundon and kyogre are world would be doomed.
I disagree. The midi-esque soundtrack of Ruby and Sapphire wouldn't sound very good coming through 3DS speakers. I prefer the remaster. It sounds much more powerful. Still, this was my favorite Gen 3 theme. Other than the rival theme, that is. They butchered the rival theme.
