@@examinedfever6812 I would love to see that! It should be drawn in the style they animated "Twilight Wings" for the Galar region specials. I wrote a slice of life years ago for one of my save files, because why not?

@@examinedfever6812 I'd love to do that, I'll have to hunt for the notebook I wrote it in tho. I can give a brief synopsis though, my trainer was born in the Kanto region and had moved to the Johto region when she was very small. After her father had gotten a work transfer they moved to the Hoenn region where she began her trainer journey. After challenging the Pokemon league and failing she decided to backtrack and try the other gyms and leagues from her old regions. Eventually getting older and never reaching a champion title she retired from being a full time trainer and became a travel journalist visiting other regions highlighting the sights for beginner trainers to visit on their journey.

Always good to have a Mr. Mime sweeping up the kitchen.

@@late2tgamex_darkly honestly, a good premise. Pokemon never has any real tragedy in it, and seeing someone fail at what a Trainer is supposed to be like the average trainer does feels alot more human. was this story inspired by May/Brendan?

Though I DID play second gen personally would likely not recognize a single song past gen 1 of Pokémon specifically but... If you were to play video game music in general, especially Sega and Nintendo retro stuff, would most likely know instantly and thought you were cool. My mother has a store (attached to her house) where I plan to sell (sort of like in a flea market vein) in the future. Video game music will be the ONLY thing played (and I plan on giving minor discounts if someone knows a song here and there). If you DO start work as a barista and do this you better give the customers an extra free sugar packet or something man.

why, why does pokemon invoke nostalgia and cozyness like anything else. be it fanart or the songs it all feels home like nothing else

i have been listening to this all day while i do stuff, jazz has been my favorite for background music for a while now and this pokemon jazz was just what i needed to spice it up amazing work OP great tracks all around

I was a fan of generation 2. Azalea was a nice selection for this, but Ecruteak City is still my favorite town theme. If you liked this, you may also like Braxton Burks. I haven't checked for a while, but I know he released orchestrated albums for generations 1-3 (Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn).
