Legends Johto Origins of Entei and Legends Johto Origins of the Unown should be games. This region is amazing and there is so much in the way of Lore that we are yet to discover.
I feel like if there was another Legends style game, it would be Johto. And take place right before the tower burning down. Like it would actually be a sad ending kinda game. My take on it would be that you befriend the 3 pokemon (presumably the 3 eeveelutions) throughout the game. But then we see them eventually die in the fire. And when they are reborn, they dont have any recollection of who they are/were and you need to befriend them again only for them to be turned into stone and hidden at the bottom of the burnt tower. Though I want the other Beasts to have their tine in the sun, i think it would probably be called Legends Ho-oh, Celebi, or Suicune (in that order). Alternatively, it they did a crystal remake, like they did with Yellow for the lets go games, they can call it Amber and Topaz version and have Entei and Raikou be the mascots.
Easy assets to be ported over from Legends Arceus, plus technically speaking if we take the Let’s Go lines into consideration for being Gen 1 Remake Remakes, technically Johto would be up next before Unova then. If they don’t count, then Unova makes the most sense. But to be fair, there aren’t really any rules in place by the Pokémon company, just patterns, so anything could be “broken” at any point. Personally while I’d like to see both, I do really want to visit Johto again soon, the first Pokémon game I played was Silver on my cousins Gameboy, and the first one I owned myself was Soul Silver, so I do kinda hope to see Johto again soon.
