Japanese version says otherwise. Oddly, the English version of Battle Revolution pronounced it that way too. Dunno why Nintendo of America/The Pokemon Company International (not sure who) suddenly changed it.

His official name in the generation he was released/invented in was Arceus, with a c that sounds like an S. But from gen 5 onwards, they changed it to Ark, instead of Ars.

YES! Thank you, I love your animated things a lot more than the sprite animations. The sprite ones aren't bad, they're fantastic too. But I prefer standard lipsyncing to the floppy heads as though everyone's canadian.
