OK, list of my misbeliefs: -Psychic is weak to Electric -I watched the anime before getting any game or print media so a lot of Pokémon names confused at me first, couldn't decypher Graveler's name while Primeape, Voltorb and Chansey were named Rayman, Baltor and Chuffy in my head -I thought Poliwag's mouth was a nose -For more stuff we have to jump to Gen 4 when I could swear that Lopbunny had a b, Driftblim had a t and Hippopowdon had one more "po". And Electivire's dot on the forehead was actually a plus sign.

A few of my misconceptions are mandela effects sort of... - Thinking that Mesprit was spelt Mespirit, and Spritzee was spelt Spiritzee - Thinking friendship existed in Red/Blue because I swore an NPC told me in those games. Aand that's all I could find. I did have a few more misconceptions but those weren't caused by mandela effect.

I had a friend come to me when we were seven and try to convince me that pikachu had indeed a black tail. IVE HAD TWO VERY DISTINCT POKEMON-RELATED MANDELA EFFECTS HAPPEN TO ME. the first was when i first played pokemon ultra sun, i swear to ARCEUS pichu used to be an electric/fairy type!! but when i restarted my game, it was gone. the OTHER was when i first played sw/sh, i had a purrserker and i SWEAR THAT THING WAS WEAK TO ELECTRIC!! and i thought i wasnt crazy because i used to go onto pokemon showdown and i had a trick room team with a copperajah and I PROMISE YOU THAT IT WAS ALSO WEAK TO ELECTRIC!!! but nope, steel is not weak to electric (despite that making a whole lot more sense than poison defeating fairy)

Back then it felt like a natural placement because I was a barely cognizant toddler, but I remember keeping that belief for long after I could have corrected that misconception and now I don't remember how I saw Pikachu before that.
