It’s so weird seeing comments from 7years ago saying that this made them nostalgic from playin r/s/e as children, and I’m here now, nostalgic about the remakes that I played in my (late) childhood.
Bruh, I remember when I first got my copy of Ruby, and then a few years later, Emerald. I remember specifically seeing Emerald at Costco for some reason, and my parents bought my older brother and I copies. Still like the RSE soundfont better though, but oh God the nostalgia, not to mention the remakes were released on my birthday LOL
@@thotobliterator1587 sameee dude i was humming this theme to myself for the entire day and i knew it was from pokemon but i couldn't remember whata city it was from. had to listen to literally every city theme in pokemon to find it again lol
I’m about to make people who played Ruby feel really old but… I am so nostalgic for Omega Ruby. I didn’t even know it was a remake until a few years ago
Crazy how this game is gonna be 10 years old this year. I was 11, couldn't even dream of affording a 3DS so I'd watch pretty much every RU-vid video about this game that I could find ever since that Mossdeep demo. Watching so much about it made me download and play the original game and it's safe to say Hoenn is my favorite Pokémon region. There are so many things about Ruby & Sapphire that always make me come back to these games
Id like to point out that Heart Gold and Soul Silver remixed the Violet and Cianwood city themes to make them distinctly different from each other. We can't be sure this will be the Rustboro and Mauville theme yet.
Gō Ichinose was the sound team leader for HgSs and the composer for the Ecruteak/Cianwood theme, and he was very innovative. Shota Kageyama, was the sound leader for Oras and unfortunately despite his amazing orchestration skills, he still isn't quite as innovative as Gō Ichinose, and so sadly I don't think different versions of the Rustboro City theme were ever on the cards, but eh I don't mind as this is a good arrangement of the original, which I don't mind listening to in Rustboro, Mauville or Mosdeep City.
KMudkip vXv Shiny hunter Translated your message... "This game is for kids!" Yes, but technically, it's for All Ages. That means anybody of any age can play it. Many teenagers and even adults play Pokemon.
Is it just me or is anyone else extremely excited that we can walk in infinite directions and not be limited to up down left right and diagonal xD it just looks so much better :3
Hey, I just wanted to thank you for introducing "Nosferatu" in my life, the band I mean. Great band! Their best songs in my opinion are: "Uninvited Guest", "The Haunting" and "Graveyard Shift". So, yeah, thanks a bunch and have a great day or night! :)
The dull n plain white tile looking city.... with a gym battle that has the annoying Nosepass gym battle that I couldnt even beat properly as I recently started Emerald....but with a beautiful city theme. Has now become one of my cherished memories of playing Pokemon and everytime I listen, I can't help but look back in nostalgia...
I was only like around 8 years old when I first played Omega Ruby. I was like 6 or 7 years old when I played Ruby and Emerald. I'm not that old yet but man.... this was the childhood stuff right here
As soon as this theme started playing in the demo, the nostalgia hit me right in the feels with a fucking hammer. So. Gorgeous. And to think that I feared they wouldn't get the ost right with a new soundfont... boy, was I wrong T__T
This is everything I wanted it to be. A perfect arrangement of what is easily one of my favourite overworld themes in the entire series. Absolutely beautiful.
just because the dumb fuckin trumpets are gone doesn't mean this whole soundtrack sucks on default jfc guys those trumpets were obnoxious as fuck anyway now the soundtrack is actually enjoyable to listen to on its own
hi guys, im not even old enough to played this is in 2014 because i was like super young. But the 3ds i think is the best console because i have so much fond memories on my cousins one. I remember like mid 2017- early 2018 going to my grandmas house and going upstairs to my older cousins room when he was playing outside with his friends, i saw this aqua blue and flame red 2 3ds sitting there on his desk. So of course little me would take it off charge and see it. I was a retard at the time so i didnt know it opened 😂. I then realised after 15 minutes that it opened and i was so shocked. The screen turned on after 1 second of being black and loaded up on this sonic theme and i was in love with the 3ds at first sight. I played new super mario bros 2 on it and pokemon alpha sapphire for so long. I didnt know what to do in alpha sapphire but i just loaded up my cousins save and walked about in rustboro, this song sounded so good to me at the time, and every after school i would head to my grandmas house to play on the 3ds but my cousins room was empty and there was sunlight shining through the window and highlighting the dust in his room and birds were chirping and i went to his desk to find nothing. I then later asked him what happened to the 3ds and he said they broke. I was grief stricken guys and i was hollerin and crying my literal eyes out. So 6 years later 2023 i start selling cookies at the park and over a few days i managed to make about 120$ so i went to the mall and didnt now what to buy with my money but i walked past my local second hand game exchange and saw a cosmo black 3ds that i immediately wanted to buy. I strolled out the shop like a badass with the 3ds in my hand and 10$ change. I got home watched videos about 3ds and ended up modding it and the times im having with my 3ds are andventures that ill remember when im actually older. Im sharing this online to express my love for nintendo and the 3ds because people irl think im weird for liking nintendo but i dont show my nintendo love irl and have been hiding my love for nintendo for a while now. Lol this took ages to write! Have a nice day :D
This is really good. I was actually expecting them to alter it more than this, (perhaps hoping) but this just re-reminds me how well-made the original was. I guess it only needed real instruments and a little re-orchestrating lol. The filtering was also handled very well. It almost sounds like it was performed live ^^
I used to play this in every single Japanese store on holiday with an MP3 of mine, especially toy stores. 😏 The nostalgia never ends as it tingles my brain with such fun memories listening it. I also use to remember playing this when I was choosing to buy some new toy trains for my big train set at home.
Kind of strange that a bunch of small unimportant towns get a unique song, but the three most important and revisited towns in the regions all have to share a song. Doesn't really matter since the song is so good
