Your right it is just so terrible that someone would ever even think of asking for another video. You do realize the way you portrayed him asking for more was completely off.
Haydunn remember you can sell TM's in Gen 4 and most of them sell for 1000+ poke dollars. Also, you can get a rotom as your Old Chateau encounter after the 2nd badge.

***DISCLAIMER: I don't know how Haydunn randomized the game, but judging by what I am seeing, I am assuming that he used the Universal Pokemon Randomizer, and this is how he did it.*** The reason you keep finding similar/same Pokemon on each route is because of the randomization option you chose. When you randomized, you most likely picked randomize all areas (which is what people always pick), but you didn't pick the "Catch Em' All" option along with it. When you randomize a game, it only replaces the Pokemon with another. For example, if a route consists of Zubat, Geodude, and Psyduck (the cave to Oreburgh), then just those three Pokemon will be replaced, so Zubat could become anything, Geodude could become anything, and Psyduck could become anything, but in the end, the route will only have up to three different Pokemon (considering there are no repeats). However, if you pick the "Catch Em' All" option, then it randomizes the Pokemon's SLOT, not just the Pokemon. Pokemon on a route are determined by their slot, for example, if a route has 10 slots for Pokemon, but the only Pokemon you can find are Zubat, Geodude, and Psyduck, then Zubat may take up 5 slots (hence why it is so common), Geodude would take up 3 slots, and Psyduck would take up the last 2 slots. So, when you randomize normally, you MIGHT only find three different Pokemon on the route (hoping that there are no repeats), but when you randomize the slots with "Catch Em' All" mode, then you WILL find 10 different Pokemon because "Catch Em' All" mode makes sure not to have repeats.
Encounter slots are the way the game stores wild pokemon data. Each area has a finite number of encounter slots. Each slot holds a pokemon found on that map, and each slot has a different rarity. As such, you will NOT find all pokemon on one route. Chances are, you'll find 10 or so on the randomize all setting.
The randomizer works like this: if there are 2 encounters normally, ie Bidoof and Starly, then the randomizer randomized those 2 pokemon and you will keep finding those 2 randomized pokemon.
I just remembered how deserving of a Mega Evolution Vespiquen is. For a Pokemon that you can only obtain with honey, and one that will only evolve if it is female (Which is pretty rare), it really needs to be better. Not to mention that Mega Beedrill needs its Queen.
***** The randomiser changes the pokemon encounters per area. So let's say a cave normally has Zubats and geodudes, it will now have Muks and Vileplumes. The new random pokemon will have the same encounter rate as their respective normal pokemon. If that makes any sense :D
While watching this episode, I set up my own randomized Emerald run... And as soon as he saw a Feraligatr, I found one. XD first route, level 2. Totally normal is right!
the randomizer only works with what the pokemon coding gives it, it just cant handle a random pokemon every single time. so it changes the coding of the game to change the appearence rates in each route, or each area pokemon change (which is why sections of safari zones that have different pokemon count) into new pokemon. (end of tldr warning) for example say the cave you meet diglett, nosepass, and aron, the randomizer makes it so now those three slots are filled by pikachu, manaphy, and gloom, but those are still the only 3 you'll meet pretty much each route changes like; zubat gets replaced with sudowoodo, and different for each route so the next route you might see a zubat it may be a dunsparce.. there is also 1;1 change option where any instance of zubat no matter which route would be switched into sudowoodo
@Haydunn the 'Randomise all' will randomise every pokemon you can find on a route hense the sudowudo would have probably been a geodude. The geodude was randomised into the pokemon and it stays as that one pokemon. If you keep running in the grass you will not find fresh randomised pokes all the time Sorry for the essay ;)
Sometimes I've noticed with randomisers that certain pokémon get swapped with others and stay like that so that's why you saw Arceus a couple of times, it's probably replaced starly or something. It doesn't mean instead of an Arceus you'd see starly though.
Imaxelius minecraft you know how whenever you make a trainer's pokemon faint, it says "so and so is about to send out ____"? and it lets you switch your pokemon as they send in their pokemon? in the option settings there is a battle option that says either "shift" or "set". "shift" is the scenario I explained above. "set" doesn't give you that option. the opponent sends out their pokemon without giving you the choice to switch beforehand. it's how online battles are set up.
When I played Pokemon Pearl the Valley Windworks was a point in the game where I got stuck for about 2-3 months because I did not read what the guy had said about where the other key was located so I trained up my Pokemon to level 25 at least lol. I had no internet and was a kid... pretty stupid of me.
I dunno how the code for pokemon is set up, but if the lists (or whichever data structure, lists to make it simple) of pokemon for an area are constant, then the randomizer has to pick the pokemon to put in the list before the code is compiled and then used making the list for a single area random but set in stone after it's been created. That makes the pokemon you can find in an area "random," as in any pokemon could be in any area, but the pokemon you find in an area once will always be available in that area. That's just how I'd expect it to work, at least. The randomizer could create a separate list and use some creative pointer work to make it so that the list could change constantly, though, so idk e_e
About what you were sayi g about "checking fully randomize yet the encounters arent fully random" the randomizer only replaces set encounters with a set random pokemon and doesnt randomly pick a pokemon everytime you get an encounter.
Based off of Haydunn's team, I will be making a ton of water jokes. Haydunn is getting pretty wet with all of his Pokemon. Hey Haydunn, ever considered making a Gym for Water types? The fire gym will be a blast with all the water type Pokemon you have! Gee, you can make a lake with all the water Pokemon. I'm aware these are terrible. Kill me now.
