The Battleships Race is based around the game "Battleships" where each player places ships on a Pokedex Grid in a horizontal/vertical line. Everytime a Pokemon is caught, the other player has to say if it Hit, Miss or Sunk their Ship. Whoever is first to sink all of the other's Ships wins the Race!

SPOILER: Yeah, really not much you can do when one player finds the two-ship right at the start, and you just can't find it, no matter how many pkmn you catch X-D Great content guys! Keep these races coming :-)

does anyone know if they put out a randomizer setup video? I thought they were using UPR but their text seems faster and apparently the rocket sequences can be removed?

Unless I misunderstood the question, I think they are using Speedchoice

2 month to late, but anyway: They are using Speedchoice. It is a special rom (exists for multiple gens) that gives you all those extras, like skipping the story or starting with the bike, better marts etc. You just use UPR on it and that is it, really easy to set up (though you may have to test a bit around with the settings)
