The Battleships Race is based around the game "Battleships" where each player places 5 Ships (2 long, 3 long [two of these ships], 4 long & 5 long) on a Pokedex Grid in a horizontal/vertical line. Everytime a Pokemon is caught, the other player has to say if it Hit, Miss or Sunk their Ship. Whoever is first to sink all of the other's Ships wins the Race!

A million years late but I like the "Only 3 ultras" rule. It actually can give you quite a bit of additional information, which adds some interesting strategy to it. I also think "Beat the E4 for a single snipe" is an interesting option because it's quite a time commitment.

2:26:30 why the hell does shen go for zapdos and not moltres.. did i miss something.. if the ship is horizontal you must go for moltres eventually and if it's only trhe 2 boat which it is chris has to say sink and if he doesn't then you can go for zapdos.

One thing you could do is whenever you catch a static pokemon (or maybe just the ones that are far out of the way like Lugia, Ho-oh and Lapras) ; you get a free snipe shot at whatever mon you want.

Why did Shen get a master ball in bug catching contest when Chris only found a berry juice?

The items are different depending on if you get them during the contest or not. Shen got them while he was still in the contest, Chris got them after he finished it. It's a quirk of the randomizer.
