Wizards of the cards XD almost the name. Also, although that's super cool, idk I'd call those creases slight lol I've bought cards normally valued upwards into the hundreds for 1/4th or less of their price because of creases much much much less noticeable than that lol made cool though!
this sheet isn't flawless I can tell it's been handled quite a lot most of those cards on this sheet has fine scratches on it and the Suns spot right in the middle is really really curious rather how will care it was in its state the ink of the sunspot completely faded and I can see right in the middle from facing the cards there's also ink bled from the cards I don't know how much this sheet that you're asking for but still that she is quite rare it's an ice sheet
The first three boosters I bought from Walmart in 2003. The one's that came with cardboard backing and plastic over them. I pulled back to back Charizard 1st edition shadowless cards from 2 out of the 3 booster packs and a Chansey on the other one. I had them and so many other really awesome holo's from the base set and all most all the rare's in the set. All of them are gone They were stolen from me when I was a kid ) :
don't worry I feel when we go to heaven all the stuff that were stolen will be given back maybe even special cards u think about having to I have tons but not enough lol 3 shining new Japan never any rare 1st edition holos that r perfect condition. :3 I always keep dreaming I loved pokemon since 13
Michael Jones r u still living in the 90’s ? Nintendo stop letting WOTC print Their cards when hasbro bought them because they weren’t doing it the way Nintendo wanted it or more or less it was business issues and someone tried to sue someone else idk know the exact details, so they stopped using WOTC to make cards since the start of the EX series which was Nintendo’s first time making cards but the quality kind of went down at least that’s what some Pokémon trading card enthusiasts say
I'd be too afraid to move that anywhere in case you accidentally damage it, seeing as the sheet might be flimsy. Did you sell it? Out of curiosity. And for how much?
They saved it cuz it was the first out of 99, and maybe cuz of the crease maybe it was a test run and it ended up with a crease so they saved it 🤔 im just guessing
@@33percent it would by one of his, "I saw something on the Internet and had to buy it" purchases 😂 cant imagine what the sheet is worth.. like 250k or more
Hello Rusty, I've been digging into the history here a bit, and thought I should share what I've found so far. I think the Pokemon community should probably have this information, and you seem like a decent caretaker. The sheet in this video was printed at the PBM Graphics facility in North Carolina. Not that far from you really, maybe you already knew. The names on the back of the sheet are D. Davis and T P, which were pressman at that PBM facility. I'm reluctant to share their full names. Those names were scratched into one of the printing plates to verify that a plate inspection had been done. "12/10" next to "T P" is a date. It's December 10th 1998, which is when T P did his inspection. The scratched out D. Davis name predates that. I know that you've had some other sheets with the D. Davis name. Those were also printed at PBM Graphics where he worked. Keep in mind that the card backs are all the same and those printing plates are used for lots of different sheets, so the dates on the card back printing plates won't necessarily align with any dates on the front side of the sheet. Back and front are printed separately (meaning at different times). The handwritten date and signature on the front of this sheet (January 3rd), was written by a WotC employee. This is a press approval sheet, provided to WotC, who gave it the thumbs up for mass production. The handwritten numbers next to the color bars are ink densitometry measurements. If you know who owns this sheet, they might appreciate having this information. I've sent you a friend request on Facebook if you want to chat.
yeah those Machamps look completely rattled.... but alot of the cards would be mint and keep in mind that that sort of creasing is common for base set cards
@@samb5358 you know they weren’t worth that much back then, just plain card-game cards, that too for children not adults. There’s 110 cards here, so that’d be 11 packs. These booster packs cost 50 pence each back when they were starting off. And it would amount to $5.50. Now tell me an employee just couldn’t ask for a sheet worth $5-$6 and take it home ?
@@Dylan-uq9vf he’s making fun of the Pokémon guru that’s was looking at Logan pauls cards for example he told Logan Paul that a first edition bulbasaur or squirtle was worth 20k then changed it for 30k and it doesn’t go anywhere near that price even graded as a psa 10 lol
@@volium3 oh that’s the first thing I thought of when heard guru because Logan pauls Pokémon guru is ridiculous but I 100% agree the sheets I wouldn’t be surprised if they are worth millions
ah still pretty crazy when I was 7 I had about 10,000 cards bought so many box sets etc if only I knew the price now I had about 8 charizards but I never knew to look if shadowless or not etc so idk which they were
Dez 1993 well the quality is everything. cards are worth value if they get sent in to be graded (PSA is the standard) and they come back as a gem mint 10. but a worn out card that's been heavily played won't be worth more than 20 bucks.
The signature you are curious about is Gene Maddox, a consultant for Wizards of the Coast who was let go in 2002 when WOTC went management changes. The machamps were given the okay for color and were the most numerous as they were going in all the starter decks. As mentioned, the numbers are for color codes for the cards, specifically the Hit points and two black codes; one bold for the name and moves of the pokemon and the other for normal black text to describe the move and for the text about the pokemon on the bottom, features, etc. Very rare find, this may have been prior to the shadow release!
it got sold on sept 6th for $66,000 www.ebay.ca/itm/Pokemon-Full-Uncut-Card-Sheet-Base-HOLO-set-SHADOWLESS-1st-EDITION-/282141495379?hash=item41b0f19053:g:LsUAAOSwQaJXTLDq
@@AmericaNeedsWeed 200k each graded gem mint 10 and would probs need to be a becket 10 for that, no way these are gem mint 10 there less than 8, that fact makes them far less value, bare in mind there was loads of each printed the rarity is determined by the card condition, still worth a fuck ton more
This looks like a prepress copy or customer copy. Those color boxes are targets to keep it lined up when it goes thru each color ink well on the press. Only prepress, bindery, and customers would actually see this particular copy in a print shop not a store. Super nice with all the color bars and targets still there. If your professionalism was Printing and Pokemon was your hobby (me) this is a Mona Lisa of sorts.
Bro I would either cut them out square cut perfect centering Or just put that whole thing in a picture frame and sell that bitch. Square cut cards are incredibly rare and worth quite a bit but i feel like the sheet in good condition would be worth more Maybe even like 300k +
That "color code" is just something we use to determine if the print color is at the correct possition or not (because printing machine uses 4 cmyk plates so if 1 plate is at incorrect possition the images will be bad) also to determine if the ink colour is the same as the design file color not.also the "printing ok and sign" writing is supervisor sign as its the first print thats has ben checked both the color and image thats ok to begin printing process. so that sheet is actually a first (first edition) print thats ever printed correctly and ready to cut. i know this because i worked as a plate maker at printing company and i also have a lot of sheets like that because usually the supervisor or the print operator just forgot about it because they can print more anyway.
