It still bothers me how they gave Wally his ORAS theme and gave Red and Blue an entirely new theme, but couldn't give Anabel the remixed Frontier Brain theme
@@Pogohg Actually that is intentional because this Anabel from the RSE timeline w/o Mega Evolution, she used a Ultra Wormhole to travel to the Mega Timeline, therefore she has the original theme, while there is a remix version of it in ORAS it isn't used because of this reason
Anyone one else hate the fact that guzma and plumeria have the regular trainer theme instead of their awesome themes. I mean I know team skull disbanded but they should still keep their themes as they suit them well. Pokemon trainer theme doesn't suit Guzma one bit and I hate it.

Like, it's one thing if it's story related (like OR/AS having an entire story dedicated to separate villains or B/W having Iris succeed Drayden in one of the games, can't remember, think it was White). It's another thing entirely if it's a challenging battle tree postgame.
is it just me or was that actually like a REALLY good sequence of moves from Blue? using Encore to force Talonflame to use Bravebird again, so it would damage itself more, then casting protect so it would be forced to target Arcanine who'd tank the hit (which Alakazam wouldn't) attacking Metagross then using extreme speed to deal a killing blow to Talonflame before Alakazam finished off Metagross who was damaged by clever use of Arcanine...

azsunaa it looks like Unova remakes are more likely now. We got more Galarian forms for Unova Pokémon than any other (except Kanto). Garbodor got the only non Kanto/Galar g max form. And the only legendaries coded into the game are Alolan and Unova legendaries. (And some mythicals from past gens)
Halofan103 Just beat him when you encounter him and make sure you have enough BP (10) afterwards to scout. Didn't know certain trainers were version exclusive until now though.
Thank Arceus for Hitomi Sato and Go Ichinose who composed and arranged a majority of gen 5 tracks. Sato composed Colress's themes, both battle and encounter.
Lily V because they gave Sun alot of good exclusive Pokémon. They weren't expecting people to be so butthurt when their favorite villain doesn't get put into a game. Sun gets alot of good things but in the end complain because one thing.

In my opinion Wally is the best rival in any of the Pokemon games, I just love his character development, he starts off weak with a ralts, and then at the end of the game he has a mega gallade, 0 to 100 real quick
Fubluhh I know it's your opinion, but they're really what rivals *SHOULD* be. Instead of being an asshat like blue/silver, or too happy like may/serena (and gen 6 "rivals") and Hau are happy go lucky peeps who aren't a challenge. Wally cranks it up top notch giving you a challenge and Barry is that type of person who is always ahead of you and frustrates you alot
I haven't done anything with the Battle Tree yet, so that's VERY good to know. So do you have to leave it at the default Number 1 choice to have it be their themes? It's VERY stupid that they would do this, they didn't do that with the Chatelines in XY or ORAS.
Yeah, for some dumb reason I can never get anymore than one or two wins at the battle tree. The best I managed was nine straight wins and that was by luck (and I hate luck) I just wish they would've made the battle tree (and the PWT in B/W2 and Battle Royal) a little easier, cause man the trainers are just ridiculously hard to beat and those are the low ranked ones. I'm not the one who just pedigrees Pokemon for these purposes, I raise them the honest way and yet despite all of my careful planning and strategies, I CAN'T BEAT A LOW RANKED TRAINER!! I just don't know what went wrong!
You can use the three dogs/birds, regis (except Regigigas), Lati@s, lake trio, Cresselia, Heatran, the three beasts, the cloud trio, tapus and ultra beasts (I think I forgot someone)
so you mean..mewtwo,mascot legendaries (for example: ho-oh is gold's mascot,dialga is diamond's) and mythical pokemon are not allowed but the others are i knew ubs were allowed but the raikou and latios surprised me
Mythical Pokémon can be used (Cresselia, Tapu Koko, Darkrai, Manaphy, etc...). Legendary Pokémon cannot be used (Dialga, Ho-Oh, Arceus, Zekrom, etc...).
I'm still disappointed that we can't even unlock these battle tracks for Wi-Fi battling. How great would it have been to listen to Colress' or Cynthia's theme during online battling.
Only the mascot legendaries and mythicals are not allowed Which honestly really annoys me, I hate having to leave my Lunala out of the fun.. Normal legendaries like the Legendary Beasts are allowed though
Instead of just "Pokémon Trainer ___", I feel that Game Freak should have done "Sinnoh Champion Cynthia" and "Unova Elite Four Grimsley" as a callback. They have "Battle Legend Red/Blue".

I remember how I earned tons of exp at Pokémon Black when battling Cynthia. Lol it was pretty easy when I saw her weaknesses. First times were though, but i'm very proud to be able to say I have never lost to Cynthia! Not in Sinnoh, not in Unova. Though I haven'tchallenged her at Battle Tree, but I can still say so!
why do people call her hard? I first played pearl when I was in fourth grade back in 2007? and I beat her on my first try with shitty pokemon ( my starter infernape and palkia ). Got platinum when it was released and beat her again. Then when I was sixth grade I beat her on the island in white. Yeah I lost the first time because I didnt know you can battle her and I went there with underleveled pokemon but then I got my good team and kicked her ass. The elite four in fire red was wayyyyyy harder. I got my ass kicked by lorelei a lot of times but cant even lose to Cynthia even if i try.

It has Fairium Z Jolly Mimikyu (might change this item, but we'll see), Lum Berry Jolly Dragonite and a standard Toxapex. I also bred a Metagross for when I get the megastone and an Adamant Aegislash to try swapping around for now. I'm kinda limited item wise. I hope your team continues to carry you far :)
What I did before I had the metagrossite(Because it cost 64 BP which is ridicoulus)was that i just gave my metagross a twisted spoon since most fighting types knew an elemantal punch or knew earthquake

Can't wait to fight Round 2 Cynthia in the Diamond/Pearl remakes. I want to see if she has an even better new team. Playing my sister's Pokemon Platinum is what got me back into Pokemon over a decade later! Cynthia was my instantly my favorite trainer after seeing her team, plus that all black dress looks pretty oool!

I'm really hoping for a DPP remake. Absolutely loved Platinum with Origin forme Giratina and Champion Cynthia. People like to bash her popularity, but she has a muchxbetter setup compared to a lot of the other champions. And personally I really hope it comes soon. Sun/Moon was a more or less disappointment for me, so my hoping for a new Sinnoh some amazing Sinnoh megas is top of my list. At least until GF decides to put Gardevoirite in Sun/Moon. Not going to transfer my shiny Gardevoir if I can't mega-evolve her into her big, black, dragonslaying ball gown of doom

Red (and I guess Leaf/Green) are the only protagonists to have a canonical team roster within the game itself. Not saying they couldn’t make an official team for the other protags, but I think Gamefreak doesn’t want to make anything “canon” when it comes to the player characters, aside from Red since he was always planned to be the Gen 2 boss and Pokémon Yellow made it easier to plan out a roster for him [and for Blue since they could just give him Eevee like in Yellow instead of a starter] because Red gets all 4 starters early in the game, while Lapas is given to him and Snorlax is a mandatory encounter even if you don’t want to catch it.
Really wish these trainers were elsewhere, ANYWHERE ELSE, than the Battle Tree. I remember being able to challenge Cynthia once a day for fun in BW2; don't get why they had to hide the best trainers behind a ridiculously luck-based and unbalanced mess that is the Battle Tree(I REALLY hate these 1v1, three pokemon team, continuous battle things. I always get stacked against teams that always have type advantages over me, idek how. And trying to take them down is like beating on a damn brick wall, meanwhile I practically get one shot everytime. Wouldn't hate it as much if this and Battle Royal weren't the only way to buy those rudiculously overpriced megastones[which they don't even have all of(fuck transferring over my shiny Gardevoir if I can't mega-evolve her)]).
Now that I think of, in Pokémon Black and White, you can battle Cynthia, but only in Autumn or Spring, i don'tremember. *But*, when you visit her and she is not avaible for battling, sometimes whe will tell you the INTERESTINGFACT, that once every year, each championof each region gather together and fight each other to see who is the strongest. Wouldn'tbe AWESOME if you were able to fight EACH CHAMPION, to show the others you are the BEST CHAMPION?!?!
I'm glad they put Cynthia in this as a loyal Cynthia fan I find her theme the best cause it makes me energetic during the battle plus she looks pretty and is in my opinion the hardest champion 2 beat the only champion 2 have no specific type and she's a good sport about losing 2 u and 2 be honest I think she's made the most in game appearances appearing in diamond pearl platinum as champion then her vacation home in undella town where she can battled spring and summer season black and white 1 and 2 I can't remember if she showed up in X and Y she did in the anime. now she showed up in sun and Moon ah the beloved champion surpasses all others X3
SwaggyScraggy Unfortunately not. BT boss is just the red theme. I'd really love to see some pkmn DLC for the first time ever being more online-background themes. If now only they'd let you choose the arena you wanna fight in i'd be happy forever xD
