Just started playing pokemon two weeks ago… after playing a few games on live with the premade decks I made my own terapagos ex deck and put some of those dusknoirs in it and briar. I have not lost a single game with it yet and now have a 21 game winning streak lol. Been learning all about the ‘meta’ as I move up through the ranks and have started battling harder and harder decks. Last night there was a really close game where I only won by 1 prize card. Opponent played a bunch of dreepy and when I found out it evolved into dragapult ex I had to act fast lol. I’m having a great time!
Theres already a mobile app for pokemon tcg which is pokemon tcg live. The app coming out in october TCG Pocket is a different way to play the game and is not related to regular pokemon tcg.
Hey gois, currently making a dragapult deck nd in a bit of a pickle. Between a pidgeot focused one or dusknoir focused one (like the dortmund deck) which is better overall? Or is putting both in the deck the best?
Relatively a new player been taking this year pretty seriously and I have a question, when do you know when it’s time to switch decks even if you’re not comfortable with the new pic? i’ve been playing moon for the majority of the most parts and earned about 240 CP but sometimes it feels like it’s just not the right deck for the format. I tried switching over to decks like zard and lugia but just don’t click with them and always come back to moon. I just don’t seem to be able to grasp the sequencing and lines of play with those decks on a deeper level like I do with moon.
so i played one piece like...religiously but now its getting very toxic and im looking into pokemon. so now im curious AS OF 10/06/2024 THE BEST DECKS will be rotated out? WHAT ARE THE NEXT BEST DECKS AND WHEN ARE THEY GOIN GTO BE OUT?
Bandai games never last. Unfortunate for your old game, but Pokémon is pretty flexible with deck choice. Just look at recent majors on limitless TCG and you’ll see a wide variety of archetypes succeeding. For the most part, the best decks don’t abruptly change from set to set, it’s more of a gradual addition to the existing meta. Of course there are some sets more impactful than others, but most of the time decks stay good for quite a while. As suggested in the video, you could look at decks with mostly G and on cards (scarlet violet on) to prepare for April’s 2025 rotation.
Been following the game since the 90's, first starting competing since 2024 rotation. I suck really bad and often think of quitting. Its been so bad that I don't look at pokemon the same anymore

@@CeliosNetwork the problem is my 8 year old son who is autistic looks up to me for all his questions and strategies for deck building and winning. I feel bad because I have no idea where to start with this constantly changing meta. Pokemon paints it like it's easy to learn but the learning curve is way too steep. New players are at a severe disadvantage
I understand your frustrations. While I would say the Pokémon TCG is probably the easiest to learn how to play in terms of the rules, I consider it very difficult to play at the very highest level. If you’re interested, I’m sure I could help both you and your son in coaching or with my new masterclass.
