Okay this is really cool content! I've never played in person so this helps a ton- to get the feel of pace and irl interactions. Thanks, def gonna check out the rest of your vids!
buddy traveled far to finish out his invite and was just stressing about it, it was a long tournament and i’m sure he was having some amount of fun. that’s what the game is about after all
so i am getting into pokemon now after many years and will be playing my first tourney in about a months time give or take depending on renovations at my local card shop for my other card games but i have some thought process questions if that ok 1. in game one what was the reason of stacking all the energy to the bottom then finishing your play? 2. with the ultimate guard pad what were you making notes of? this questions might seem dumb to an older player but as someone who comes from other card games like Yugioh and MTG and lorcana i just want to know what i can and can not do in a comp. setting thanks for your answers to these question and also i just subbed to the channel as i am looking to gather as much info i can before my first event and beyond
Thanks for visiting the channel! We’re happy to have you as a viewer, and it makes us so happy to hear that you’re getting back into competitive TCGs! Upon first deck search, I like to check what cards are in my prize cards. By moving energy to one end of the deck and Pokemon to the other, it makes it easier for me to count how many of each are in my deck. If I’m short any of these, it’s easy to know that it is prized. This leads to answering your second question. On my notepad, I was writing down what cards were prized based on my first deck search. It’s important to know and keep track of what resources you do and don’t have access to throughout the game, and writing them down helps a lot with that.
@@spoonsquadptcg Sorry I am new and trying to understand better the game. So, he basically gave up because he was set back? Also is this what known as Swiss BO3?
it was 3d printed by fellow Spoon Squad Member Cody Pedigo! If you have a 3d printer or know someone who does, i think there are files out there you can download to print it yourself!
