Thank you for being a Pokemon TCG RU-vidr that's focus on the actual game of Pokémon TCG and not just the collectability of it or how much money they make. Definitely getting a sub from me
@@snekksuperior If there is, its hard to find when you youtube "Pokemon TCG matches" 9 times out of 10 a Pokemon TCG channel will just be them collecting the cards and showing it off
For anyone who hasnt gone, yes ! Everyone is so friendly. My first time everyone was helping me and giving me trainers I needed and teaching me how to build a better deck and it was so much fun!
Pre release events are a really great starting point, I just started playin 6 months ago and my first tourney event was a paradox build and battle and it was really fun, decks were still really diverse too. Now im trying to go every week or other week when I can and players are really fun and helpful.
just started playing a couple of months ago. been doing a bunch of local leagues in town, hopefully i can gain some more experience to participate in a regionals
very good timing! been practicing a lot on ptcgl for the past few months and i plan to start competing in-person once rotation hits, so this is super helpful! thanks!
Tysm I had to make a new account because it was set to wrong name but I have a good feeling I will keep wining tournaments. Thinking about try harding next season for worlds quals
Gonna participate in the regionals tournament in Dortmund in a couple of days with my son. It's his/ our very first time. My son was recommended to participate in a local store so that's an entire new experience for us all. Are there any different rules/ match set ups regarding kids? Or is it the same as with adults regarding breaks number of games you have to play in a row, etc.?
i haven’t gone to a decklisted tourney since i’ve gotten my lz tina together and i thought it’d be funny to get all different arts of comfey. didn’t realize how annoying that’s gonna be while filling out lists 😂😭
Thanks so much for posting this video. I've been playing a lot on ptcgl and i've decided to give competitions a try. i unfortunately won't be able to go to anything until april due to work constraints, but it gives me a lot of time to research, prepare, save money, and plan this out. this info was super helpful. thanks again. ✌😎
Do you double sleeve your Pokémon centre Japan sleeves with outer sleeves or are they good enough not to? I’m worried the art will scratch or fade on mine.
i've gotten into the tcg when i started collecting last year and i'd want to compete but where i'm from there's no shops that sell cards or any tournaments that run, and its pretty expensive to fly as you've stated, any help or tips on what to do?
Bro i am 15 years old i am getting a job now and i wanna play pokemon with the money i earn. The point is i live in the netherlands and most regionals are in america en canada and its expensive for me. So what do i do? Also are there pokemon seasons just like in football/soccer or do they just host random regionals and you can play?
❤️❤️ Didn’t end up using the thingy you let me shoot but good to have in my database! Might use it for end of season recap or final push for worlds vlog :)
I have no place ın my country that has these events, Pokemon is almost non-existent to play, only to collect. I feel so bummed, I wanna play the decks I work so hard on to bring together, only to find no one to play them with, except for my friends (whom I basically force to play).
New season starts the day of the world championships and season ends after NAIC. Rotation happens about halfway into the season. There is no best time to collect points really. just depends on your city and personal situations
Also, a video I personally think would be cool to see, is a “what I bring with me to a Pokemon Tournament” and you break down what’s in your bag when you go to Pokemon events. Just a thought!🫡
