I think the friendly banette looks very nice but also think that it resembles mimikyu too much to become real, both being fairy-ghost and trying to get a friendly, famous or liked host body.

It’d be cool if it evolved into a fairy/ghost type when it reaches a very high level of friendship but if it reaches a certain level, say 38, it turns into a ghost/dark type. Having not reached such a level of happiness by a level like that it would feel even more betrayed and corrupted gaining the dark type and having a more work out look. It’d be super cool to see a concept where if your Pokémon and you don’t have a good level of friendship by a certain level it will corrupt and banette’s whole backstory could work really well with that.

I LOVED the Bannette idea. Instead of a forgotten toy it's a loved toy. If your taking requests I'd like to see an ice Shelmet and ice Escavalier. It could be a Shelmet in a snowball instead of an iron shell and the Carablast could steal the snow and it could have icicle lances when it evolves.

Okay this is kinda cool. And maybe the accelgor can become Bug\Dark and a SANIK SPEED physical attacker, embracing the ninja properties. Maybe make it want vengeance on Escavalier for stealing it's ice. And instead of a snowball, shelmet can be in a cluster of icicles. And ice\bug type.

Emolga and Morpeko are my favorites but that's partially because Plusle and Minun didn't have a lot of chances to shine. Even in the game that introduced double battles, there weren't enough of them for me to justify using them on my teams.

The newer Pikachu Clones are the better ones imo, since they have a lot more personality and depth instead of just BOOM. PIKACHU. Like Togedemaru, Morpeko, Mimikyu (Does it count?), and Dedenne are a lot more than just PIkachu all over again.

@@RussellSmith91 Oh yes, 5 pokemon out of roughly 800 is far too many to share a typing. Ghost/fire works very well concept wise, and there are type combos with many more pokemon sharing them. For Roserade, the story could be that it was trapped in a fire, but instead of just dying, it's soul/spirit/will to live/whatever was strong enough to overcome the flames and become one with them. Psychic/Fire would work too, as the stress of the fire awoke dormant psychic ability. For the red and blue roses on it's arms, it could have red and blue flames instead, and it's body could be a sooty color with tattered edges.

Kaye Faye the problem I think is that too many of the fire/ghost ones are kind of the same design wise. They all have the whispy fire to make it look ghostly. The only one that doesn’t is Blacephalon, unless it does during battle animations, I haven’t really seen anything of it. If TrueGreen’s able to do something that doesn’t just copy the Litwick line then it’d be cool

Though the ghost Parasect was an amazing idea, I think it would make a little more sense to be an evolution for Parasect, since it happens after real world ants are taken over by Ophiocordyceps and then release parasitic spores. It doesn't really make too much sense if an exploded version was a regional variant of the original. *I mean you did say it would be good for an evolution and that you might redo the stats so shhhh*

These are simply amazing! I've seen a few different ice Luxray recently and this is the best one so far! I also think that in addition to type swapping and maintaining their themes, you incredibly improved upon each pokemon's design! It was like a type swap meets making pokemon better video.

You should design regional evolutions, so what if Plusle and Minun evolved if they were in the same team, and fused into a yin and yang Pokémon that has perfectly mastered controlling its emotions, and wants those around it to be like itself, and helps out by leveling emotions when it’s friends are too sad or too energetic. It could either be Fairy/Dark, or pure psychic

I absolutly loved Banette, Vigoroth and specially Plusle and Minum's concepts! They are extremely interisting, have logical basis, and sound like ideas that the Pokémon games usually incorporate! They feel very natural. I also liked Luxray and absolutely loved Parasect's design, but I really can't go over how they feel more like Pokémon Fusions (with their respective inspirations) rather than Regional Forms. I think that if Parasect's colours changed to a more ghostly purple or black, and with some orange accents from the original Parasect maybe, it would look so much better! As it is now, it straight up looks like a Shedinja, but its concept is the absolut best in this video (the spore+soul combination is flawless). Luxray, on the other hand, I don't really think has much salvation, but maybe I am just biased that I really don't enjoy the ice and fairy typing on it. Overall amazing video as always Ron! Theae concepts never cease to be amusing to watch and the work that goes into them is very noticeable and something to be appreciated!

Alright, Ron, idea for your next video: A Fairy-type version of the Deino line, based on puppeteers/Muppet-esque puppets. Deino and Zwelious are more or less based on regular Muppet-esque puppets-- with Zwelious having more of a Bert and Ernie-esque design aspect to it, given its two conflicting heads-- but Hydreigon is a friendly dragon puppeteer, with its two head-hands becoming sock puppets that it uses to entertain children with. The backstory for this one is simple: I've always thought Hydreigon was cute because its two hand-heads looked like sock puppets, so why not have children start to give Hydreigon the love it truly deserves, calling it cute and wanting Hydreigon (as in, the original Dark-Dragon types) to entertain them via "sock puppet" shows? Eventually, this version of the line grows fond of children and gains love to the extent where it completely loses its hatred, becoming Fairy-Dragon rather than Dark-Dragon. Now, not only is it much more playful and fun-loving, instead of being weak to Dragon types, it becomes _immune_ to them! (Plus Hydreigon becomes even cuter)

wooow Parasect is really well done. I love the fact that it wants to protect others around it by not being around them until he masters the deadly spores. Also the fact it's able to regain control over it's body is so nice.

Interesting choice for parasect, though they're all really cool. I always figured the Mushroom would completely take over, removing the Bug type and becoming fully a ghostly mushroom beast, but this idea was interesting too And seeing your Luxray design, I now REALLY want a snowy cat Pokemon

10/10 would use this Luxray, it is SO pretty! Also it could use its magically enhanced vision to spot dangers hidden under the ice and snow. Actually, for that purpose I'd make his eyes orange, like most sports/skiing visors, because that orange glass heightenes the contrast of the snowy ground to make it easier to spot uneven terrain.

Well, after looking at the two videos presented thus far I can present certain observations: 1) Not everything needs an Ice-type counterpart. Stop it. We have enough already. 2) What is the obsession with Ghost-types? 3) Too many Fairy-types. 4) Pretty sure the sandworm idea for Wailord was already covered with Sandaconda. 5) The regional Parasect idea is nice, but draws too many parallels with Shedinja. 6) The regional Metagross is far too much like Spiritomb. 7) We really don't need any more Dark-type regional variants. Alola went overboard with it and Galar had Zigzagoon and Linoone, before chucking in Obstagoon for chuckles.
