Dude when I saw my Raichu's Pokeball get locked I straight up got scared. Never in a Pokémon game before have I been genuinely afraid of losing like that! Scarlet Violet undoubtedly my favorite Pokémon games, far surpassing my previous favorite, Emerald.
It would have been an incredibly cruel and agonizing way to die and shows how brutal and sinster the professor is - without a Pokemon you can summon and protect you, you are effectively trapped helplessly against a pokemon with significantly more strength than what you can muster, and would probably be one-shotted, or worse, killed off in whatever ways that almost killed Arven's Mabosstiff.
@@acrj-alfasaus4825 TBH I have a bit of a doubt about it. While the AI did say the 'Don you hold was bullied by the other 'Don, and the professor died protecting your 'Don, the AI did not explicitly said it was the fierce 'Don that killed the professor
@@user-uv5ld3cx5t still heavily implied that it was the other 'Don that killed him while he put himself between the two. If not, how did he die then? Stray energy beam?
Man this made me feel things no other pokemon game made me feel an actual sense of panic during the first phase a feeling of triumph after beating the second phase when I played blindly and it actually made me cry when AI Turo said to Arven "Your father truly loved you." Man that part still makes me cry... Also funny story when I fought AI Turo for the first time the music dropped right when the screen said "VS" and THAT was just straight up perfect
Black and white were incredible. Xy were terrible ( minus the post game story), sun and moon were pretty good. This might have an empty post game, but one helluva main story
These games really feel like they would have been incredible if they had more development time for bug-fixing and general quality. Imagine if the full game felt as polished as this last battles.
Paradise Protection Protocol was a defective, plus it was highly flawed in its belief that it had higher pokemon battling prowers. especially against a champion lol
What do you mean, the Paradise Protection Protocol was a literal death sentence, you get saved by having Miraidon's ball, else it wouldn't have ended nicely.
