In online poker on Pokerstars VR if people say mean things to me or try to rush me through a hand I'll sit there and take my full time allotment every single turn and it drives people insane. And it is a sweet satisfaction to bust and eliminate maddies off the table for me.
I believe to play poker you need the trait that athletes have where you have a short term memory. Like a quarterback you can’t let a interception get into your head you just have to be ready to take your shots.

I use to go to high school with this guy. Wednesday was sloppy joe day. Staff ran short and served him a chicken sandwich. Should have seen his reaction.
I sat next to this dude in a tournament earlier this year, he wouldn’t shut up for the entire 5 hours he was at the table. Felt good when I finally busted him out and the rest of the table seemed quite relived as well. In his defence definitely the most memorable character I’ve ever played with at the poker table.
Threw this guy a few hundred in chips then said that's for the bus ticket home chump,. Get lost. The dude got up, started crying, then walked off. Went out to my car, he was out there, beat him up, then left while cops showed up and arrested him. Lol, self defense.

He literally describes the impulses he is having and then doesn’t act on them. That is a perfect definition of impulse control. Did he lose his temper? Yes. Did he verbalize his anger and make angry comments? Yea. Again, he didn’t insult anyone and he didn’t break anything. Does he look a bit foolish? Sure. He controlled the impulse to break stuff and freak out to a level that would do more then effect people’s ears. IE: IMPULSE CONTROL. I lacked impulse control because…I had the impulse to respond to people that I’ll never meet and will probably not get to move from their positions…and I acted on that impulse.
Ego is the #1 killer of poker players. He needs everyone to know he’s not losing to skill but to luck that’s all this is. The intelligent person knows that Luke is involved in poker and in order to win a tournament. You have to get lucky several times and win when you’re not supposed to which means other people have to be on the flipside of that effect.
KK vs A9 I jammed after 3-bet, he calls Flop : K 10 10 Turn : 10 River : 10 Quad 10's with ace kicker, I busted. Went to the bathroom to throw up. I stopped playing for a few months after this. It showed me I was not ready to play tournaments. Of course this is a horrible cooler, but it madr me sick at a point it shouldn't have.
Win every hand is nearly impossible in the poker . Important are EV+ games by combination from math and the psychologic rules. Sometimes with pure math can be EV- but pszchology and meta game it can be EV+
I guarantee he mentioned losing the million dollar hand to an Ace on the river when you played him. Regardless if it happened or is an exaggeration: *EVERY TABLE he plays at hears that story.*
There's always at least one idiot at the table. Live tournaments are the worst. If I got stuck at a table with someone like Will Kasouf or Martin Kabril I'd be going to prison for murder.

yeah, the shit some people go through in a poker room, this is a decent bit of control tbh. You can tell he's somewhat justified because most of the players at the table aren't smiling or mocking him, they understand and empathize with him
I'm a winning player and I understand this feeling so much.. But you learn not to explode like this. You just breathe slowly and dont tilt through the next 5 hands.
The day I walked away pissed was my last day of poker. I teach my son…if we get pissed during a game…we put the game away for a while. I also do not celebrate wins with more than a smile. The dealers were more happy to see my larger tips when I’d win a big hand than I was for winning the hand. It’s been 1.5 year. Never once before had I walked away pissed. I’ve been thinking of going back
I feel him,one time I lost a few hands on baccarat,the 5th hand I go all in 5k on player,got natural 8,banker got a 5 and draws a 4 tie,f that shit just so brutal.
I got a bad beat once that was brutal. I had an 8 of diamonds, the board was 9,10, jack, queen all diamonds. Me straight flush, my opponent had a king of diamonds, better straight flush. Things happen. That guy needs to take a long breather.

I played a hand with AKo and the flop came AK2 rainbow. I raised, button went all in and I called. He had K7. Turn - 7 River - 7 Bad beats happen, they are part of the game.
