For the people confused about the guy calling with 8 6 They’re playing short deck where the cards 2-5 is removed from the deck Flush beats a full house and an Ace counts as a 5 too so A6789 is the lowest straight possible in short deck

I am 64 and look a lot better than him. Never smoked, never did drugs, a sometimes stressful engineering career, but once I went contracting I had lots of time off between gigs and went to thailand or florida or So cal and relaxed. Gambling every day and sweating pot after pot causes a lot of stress for most of these guys. Most of these older poker pros busted out years ago and now are staked or sell themselves on those websites where investors can buy pieces of their action. Very very few have bankrolls, investments, passive income, etc

Honestly, he is. I mean, he usually says he was lucky and he congrats the other players when he eliminates them. Sometimes, in his old days, he used to apologise for his behaviour saying ot was just part of the game. That doesn't apply when he plays against Hellmuth of course. When he plays against Hellmuth he becomes a cycling coach 🤣

It’s short deck. So Brewer flopped the nuts. That’s why he said he was only losing to a flopped set turned boat or AQ. Tough to lay that down in Short Deck.
