Ah ha! There is the proof that this man with all the chips is lying to the other players because he is winning all the time. That is not fair. Bluffing in poker is not legal and...oh wait...never mind.
Its a limit game, and usually the chips are pretty low dinominators, and everybody buyin for insane amount of BB, for example I once saw a limit game in LA it was 1/2$ and everybody bought in for like 800-1000$ but all the chips were 1$, so players had 800-1000 chips in their stack
what are you trying to say? casinos on gta are absolute bullshit and rockstar should be ashamed to have put that stupid wheel in the game to get players hopes up of winning a car only to to get a crum of dumb xp. they cant get away with it!!!!
And that was seen as "bad etiquette". Personally, if I get you to call with a losing hand, it's good etiquette for my pockets, and they couldn't care less how the money/chips got there. But then maybe I just liked it because it caused Hellmuth to blow up afterward.
Sometimes me and my friends announce our hands while playing but it just adds to the silliness cuz we still don't know whether we're telling the truth or not. Sometimes we are, sometimes we aren't.
@@astearn6546 Ah, but that's tactical; if your friend knows you only occasionally tell the truth then they won't know for sure if you're laughing because you've got a good hand or laughing to throw them off. You're pretty much giving yourself more room to make whatever face you want without raising suspicion.
Depends entirely on context/feel but it can absolutely be used to get into people's heads. "Nah dude I'm not bluffing, I made a full house" to someone you've been bluffing all night - maybe pisses them off enough to call. Then potentially puts them on monkey tilt after they call and you show the full house.
I was kinda new to poker, and was playing at Atlantic City in a 5/10 game. Action came around to me, and I asked the dealer, "Can I raise?" He said I absolutely could, so I raised. Another player objected to that, because I didn't officially say I was GOING to raise, I just asked COULD I raise. The floor had to be called to see if my raise was binding. Bunch of old man coffees being babies.
I stopped playing at casinos because of how petty and pathetic people are at the table and the ridiculous arguments that go on. People watch poker on TV and think that they know everything about the game and the floor people running the game are no better.
No brainer; No rule had to be checked. The minute you push your arm forward with a single chip, and drop it, that is a raise (or call, whatever your intentions...)
@UCyv5Vt1xhYZV-UhpsIQ7mNw umm are you talking about the guy that said he had a full house and was lying? That is not a angle at all. He can say anything he wants. The dumbfuck that has no idea what he is doing and trusted him is called a sucker. You are what is called a dipshit.
That hand was a classic I love Tony g he can be brutal but it's only for the game to have fun and he's entertaining more then most that take the game to serious
"but.. but.. but.. he said he had a full house....I trusted him!" Please let me play poker with this guy every single day, I will make a fortune. lmao!
You'll have to hear him cry for half a hour every time he loses a pot, while probably playing $1-$2 LIMIT Holdem, eventually netting a measly $8/hour at best.
@@imluvinyourmum I don't trust you either. You seem like you would either get me involved with trouble or I'd find things missing from my house. I'm keeping my eyes on you....
I’m shocked at the fact that this man went out in public thinking he could win at a casino playing poker. How did he make it this far without bluffing once?
well, you can get far if you start with enough money, and this man probably got quite far, but losing and losing and losing finally filled the cup and it just spilled over... I generally am against preying on weak, but have absolutely zero pity for gamblers, this sheep deserved to be sheared 100% edit: grammar
Well, in Islamic faith it is very wrong to lie.... especially lying to win money from a game amongst gents. that being said he seems like a foreign vacationer to a western casino where lying is part of the game. This man really thought this was a gentleman’s game with his faiths morality. What an upsetting culture shock XD. That insight being said, the Asian gentleman on the right might of been well aware of this common held belief in traditional Islam.
But also a gambling addiction, they won't stop playing with their chips. ( never been gambling though so what the fuck do I know, parents were addicts though )
How the floor guy said that with a straight face is commendable. Did the player actually think he was gonna get his money back because he lost to a bluff? 😂
Yes. Idiots are everywhere. I heard a gentleman at a roulette table ask if he was allowed to bet on both red and black, "that way no matter what he wins"... He spent about 10 min arguing with the dealer about why his idea isn't terrible.
Well, it may have just made him feel better that he at least tried. He probably knew it was fruitless, but for the rest of his life, he won't have to wonder what would have happened. That's why it's better to try in life, then to have a lifetime of regrets. With that said, I mean that only with things that are good, not illegal, like robbing a bank etc.
if he had called and upon show, you can not lie about your hand so it was close to being a bad play since you can muck your cards without showing if someone says i got the boat and then you muck without showing then he shows a 3 pair. in that case he would be entitled to a reversal of the hand. in this case he just plain got bluffed because he lied about his hand prior to him calling so its a matter of seconds before it being a bluff and a cheating play and if you didnt know there are rules to about saying what your hand is to an opponent in poker at a casino. looks like an easy call to a poker pro but to a laymen these rules are confusing. i wonder how he knew it was a bluff?. did the man show the bluff did his hand get flipped? or did the loser show muck his hand and the winner did the same? knowing the rules and thinking you know the rules can be confusing and you should contest a bad play with the pit bosses or the dealer but at the end there it seems like he learned what his mistake was by being asked did you call? if he had called and then you say i got the boat thats where the bad play can be challenged and the pot reversed. but seeing your reaction im sure you already knew all the little details in poker
No, you id10t. He wanted his money back cause he was lied to and it appears that he concidered that against the rules or at least bad etiquete. Maybe poker is played that way in his country. It was pretty funny though that he believed the little kook.
This guy playing basketball: "It's not fair, this guy made a move like he was going left, but then he went to the right and went right past me! That doesn't count!"
@@samuelconnel2166 Insane! Did you tell the referee? There's no way that's allowed. He has to sign documents in triplicate detailing where he's going to throw the punch, and deliver a copy to you postmarked at least two weeks before he throws the punch.
Actually, one occasion one of the player said you win after his bet was called after the river. The caller immediately threw away his hand. The bettor said he won because the caller mucked his hand. Floorman came over and heard the story, at the end the guy who said, "you won" loss the pot. You can not declare verbally something to cause the other player to act to your advantage. For instance, you can not say I'll kill you if you call or I have 2 & 7 off suite and I'm bluffing you when you don't have it.
This is the greatest compliment that you can pay to the bluffer. To get the bluffed to actually bring in authorities and lodge a formal complaint about being bluffed is as good as it gets.
Robyne Bell: Can you illegally bluff? I’m asking that in all seriousness. If no one has called, or, laid out their hand I thought that poker pros can say whatever they wanted. Bluffing seems to be a valued art among this caliber of players.
@@rickiovine2170 despite misunderstanding the original comment, let me explain how you can "illegally bluff". You're allowed to do what this guy did and falsely claim what your hand is if, and only if, the hand is heads up. If there are more than 2 players in a hand, you are not allowed to talk about what you may or may not have in your hand. You are also not allowed to fake call to see how the person reacts to your potential call. Most of the folks I play with call that a pump fake and it invalidates the call/fold at least as far as most of my tournament directors have called it.
Lmaooo believe it or not, that poker player is actually a fairly nice guy. I used to work there I know a lot of the people at this table 🥺 the dealer is Alan and the supervisor is peter 🥺 sometimes I miss my old coworkers
@@santaclause4285 Back in Soviet Union the toilet paper was a luxury merchandise. Facts! Only high party leaders had the damn toilet paper in the 80's.
Like uncle Phil pretend to suck let them win a few then take them on double or nothing! Lol if this guy was that smart he wouldn’t have called security
If someone tells you they have you beat, there’s only two possible reasons why. One, they don’t have you beat, but want to convince you to fold. Or two, they do have you beat, but want to convince you they’re bluffing. In no world are they telling you for your sake.
That is the secret to poker. Play the fool but really be smart, however there are many who just are fools. If this guy got the whole table to believe he was that stupid and really was playing the long game for a big win later he maybe a genius.
@@wanderer1857He's not a genius. I believe that he was deeply offended by the guy lying about having a full house. If you're gonna bluff, show some class, don't just outright lie lol it's just one of those unspoken rules that is completely unethical.
Plot twist: he’s the one hustling them by pretending he doesn’t know how to play poker so they all let their guard down and he pulls the biggest uno reverse card and cleans out their wallet before they realize what happened
Amen brother. This is why I never let doctors operate on me, dentists clean my teeth, entrust my children to schools with teachers I don't know from Adam, or put my money in banks. You can't trust anyone in this world lmao. Everyone is lying self interested scum out for themselves.
I was at a table once where a guy had an A high flush...another guy had a smaller flush and happily said, "Slip pot, we both have a flush." I said, "but he has the A high." He then said, "I'm a professional poker player, I know what I'm talking about," and started to split the pot. As everyone else started to stop him, I simply said to him, "You must not win very much if you don't know the difference between a nut flush and a flush."
You always talk, tell the truth and tell a lie, if you can’t lie well don’t talk at all and where glasses if you can lie well just talk talk talk and through everyone off Bc they will just be getting distracted
This is when someone needs to come up to him and say "I have an island in the Bahama's next to the women's only nude beach for sale and wish I could find a buyer"
This guy is a genius. Its all an act and since he's gonna get invited to EVERY home game for 50 miles, he's gonna clean up like the real pro he is. Even Penn and Teller got fooled on this one.
“I trusted him”. Okay who here knows that trust does NOT exist in the poker at all besides that amateur? He had learned the hard lesson on the concept of bluff. Never trust the player, no matter who sincere or reputable or even a “friend” are.
"He lied to me" Gee dude, that's part of poker, wanna buy a bridge or maybe some beach property in Iowa? You know what makes me sick? People who get upset on the internet about stupid humorous shit that has nothing to do with them.
Someone else reported play was suspended b/c the guy was besieged with sales offers… weekend getaway with Hollywood bombshell, purchase of a deserted island, Brooklyn Bridge, among others 😀
