True because if you look at team rocket in red/blue, and Fire Red and Leaf Green I believe that the games just made them over glorified poachers if anything else. So having Giovanni try to rule the world with Mewtwo gives more of an identity to the story.

Giovanni always had a story. They stole Pokemon and used then as prizes at the game corner so Giovanni could fund research into the Mewtwo project.

I think that's correct. He explained the mechanic of the player knowing which Pokémon the NPC will send in the battle. This was AWESOME!

This is a year late but yes. This is a reference to switch and set mode. Essentially Pedro made switch and set mode a psychic ability. In game Sabrina says "Psychic power isn't something that only a few people have. Everyone has psychic power. People just don't realize it.". They just need a catalyst to help them realize their potential. I'm not too sure how Blue awakened his powers too, but then again I haven't watched Pedro's Blue Story either which I'm sure puts some clarification on how he awakens his psychic ability. Anyways, when Red was mind controlled by Mewtwo that awakened the ability inside of him, and the final catalyst was green being in danger from the Voltorb explosion. It's safe to presume Switch and Set Mode is the weakest power of psychic capability, since neither Red or Blue show they are capable of any other powers, and we know Sabrina is just an extremely gifted psychic. And thats the story of switch and set mode. TLDR, Switch and Set mode is a psychic power that Red awakened to after being mind controlled by Mewtwo, and seeing Green's life in danger. I'm unclear on how Blue obtained his psychic power but there is the Blue Story also made by Pedro that might shed some light.

@@ItsFlav I said Purplecliffe because he caught a shiny Heatran in his SoulSilver randomized Nuzlocke and he had only 1 ball, a Cherish Ball. He has also caught a few other legendaries in either a Poké Ball or one ball. Purplecliffe has crazy luck sometimes, and yet he ends up killing all the good luck later lol I don't get what I'm supposed to look at Green for.

@1:45:36 yoooo i really want co-op moves in pokemon now. like imagine your in a "2v2" double battle or a "2v1" boss battle and you link up with your own mons or your friends mons and use op moves like "burnout" but at the cost of 2 turns rather then one but it does psychic fire damage and 300 base power that would be dope.
