Pokkén Tournament DX - Any% in  

Welp... This was NOT what I was expecting for a return to speedrunning longer categories. XD
Pokken's always been one of my favorite fighting games, and a LONG while back, I tried out & held the Any% record for the game for a short while, before I started focusing hard on Smash. Well... that definitely led to some serious burnout on longer speedruns for me. I still ran shorter categories, like Classic Mode, but I just didn't feel the same drive, until today.
This was meant to be a practice run to de-rust from the story mode, and see if I would enjoy it as much as I used to. Long story short, I am DEFINITELY interested in pushing the time even lower.
As for the run itself, it did not start out like a WR attempt at all. Green League was just... BAD, for lack of a better word. But... then I suddenly regained nearly all of the time lost in Red League, and then multiple minutes in Red League... I realized I had to go for the Chandelure strats for the endgame, because I had a shot at record at that point. Lo & behold, Chroma League was AMAZING in terms of RNG. Blaziken into Chandelure is definitely the optimal strat, and I can't wait to see how far I can push it down.
