I can state with full confidence, if they want to stay in Belarus they can, Belarus needs the workforce, the fact that they don't want to is not Belarusian problem. IMO Lukashenko is doing the right thing, EU sticks it's nose into Belarusian politics, he is doing the same, you reap what you sow.

@@annle9671 free education isn't in every country. Only Scandinavian countries, I believe, are free when you want to study. In most others you just have to pay/get a loan. Besides that, most people in Western Europe pay a huge amount of taxes but those tourists just want to benefit from it and not contributing. In my country (NL) they even get priority for housing while local people have to wait for 10+ years. Probably this is in other countries too.

They are not asylum-seekers, as they do not meet legal criteria. If they seek international protection, they should have applied for it at Polish Embassies and Consulates worldwide. If they illegally cross the border of the first safe country they have entered into another - that is illegal immigration, a criminal activity. Poland accepted over 100 000 asylum-seekers fleeling Lukashenko’s oppressive regime in Belarus, there is something like 1 million Ukrainians living in Poland. We just do not take BS easily, we have suffered enough in the past. For God's sake, there is no universal right to migrate to the EU.
