Saska Kepa has developed and changed quite a bit. I lived in Warsaw for years back in 90’ early 2000. Thank you for showing this part of Warsaw. I ❤️Warsaw.

I can hear your voice very well outside buildings and it matches its volume inside buildings. Have you started using a different recording equipment as well? The picture quality seems to be better as well.

Many buildings in Saska Kępa date from the interwar period(1918 - 1939). So they are modernist buildings. A large part of them are waiting for money to restore them to their former glory. There is a whole city in Poland. This city is called Gdynia, it was founded in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century. Ulica Francuska means the same as French Street. Many streets in this district are named after different countries.🙂 Browary Warszawskie is a place where beer was once produced. Browar means brewery. The best football player in the world, Robert Lewandowski, has his gastronomic concept in the old brewhouse. 😉 There is a similar place on Prosta Street (parallel street). Fabryka Norblina - The Norblin Factory is still moving in with tenants (you will find there the most exclusive cinema in Poland). Wola used to be an industrial district with workers' estates. My recommendation is the former vodka factory. This place is called Koneser and it is located in the Praga district. You have to visit the Polish Vodka Museum there.

yes, of metallurgy; you can find everything in internet. Basically it is the same concept as BW (or Elektrownia Powisle, or the next "Bohema") : industries which where abandoned, and are transformed into post modern concepts; Warsaw is just a fascinating City, my beloved european city, and is just currently going to be one of the most popular european destinations; still, currently, many people do not know it, as, like a flock of sheep, they still continue pilling up in massive turistic spots like Barcelona or Berlin.....if you are interested about the recent History of Poland, go to the tiny PRL museum, and get a coffee upstairs, served by a fascinating lady, with a coffee machine from comunist times.....
