he most unique part of Woodstock is the sense of community and positivity. Typically one would expect to see fights in a place with so much alcohol, but that’s an extremely rare occurrence at Woodstock. Whether in a death metal mosh pit or in the morning line for the porta potty, it’s never inappropriate to turn around and give a big hug to the person next to you.
In addition to rave metal and booze, Woodstock also features some calmer music, some death metal, a huge arts/activism area, slacklines, a climbing wall, and a bike course, a 3 km obstacle course, daily yoga workshops, and a Hare Krishna parade with free food.
