It's very impressive that when talking about a given period you use appropriate footage instead of simply using any stock footage showing a different president of a completely different country, like the other channels usually do haha

There once was a European nation that was fairly weak & defenseless. It feared attack possibly from the West but much more from its ancient enemy to the East that had attacked it many times before. There was no hope of negotiation because the two countries were ruled by vastly different philosophies. Finally, it decided to build up its military into a powerful adversary. The plan would take ten years. It decided to double, then triple the size of its armed forces, to be at least half the size of its eastern foe. It began to acquire massive numbers of armored vehicles, to acquire the means to defend its skies from any assault, and to expand its navy. It planned that if war came it could strike with lightning speed and horrible deadly force. The plan was that, if possible, the eastern foe would be forced to sue for peace with its capital of Moscow under occupation. However, am I talking about 1930s Germany or 2020s Poland?

I think this framing is not correct. I would consider Poland 'militarized' if it was like Israel. Israel has a population of ÷/- 10 million. Poland has +/- 38 million. So almost four times as many. Israel has an active force of 169500 troops with 465000 reserves. Their tanks total 490 active and 880 stored. So multiply that by four and that is a 'militarized' Poland.

627000 active troops. 1776000 reserves. 1862 active tanks. 3334 stored tanks. Multiplied Israeli numbers by 3.8.

The video gives the impression that Crimea is part of Russia. According to international law, Crimea is part of Ukraine.

Great video. Loving the remnants of Prussian goose-stepping at 6:51. Footage at 7:14 is weird - everyone is shaking with their left hands - suspect it has been mirror-imaged

Goose-stepping? Not even close. Only North Korea and Ruzzia still use it (also probably Chile). There's a big difference 😉

Fortunately Poland is by far the biggest net receiver of EU contributions. That'll help financing their military plans. Maybe someone should make that clear to the Polish and they might review their ridiculous EU resentments. Well, first step was to send the PIS(S) party into the dessert. That shows there's still hope.

Poland is not doing anything extraordinary, it is simply an acceleration of the natural process of modernization of the army, an acceleration resulting from the geopolitical situation and a pinch of propaganda which is aimed at internal and external use.

4:04 This map is incorrect. Poland was larger, and Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine didn't exist. Weapons and cost data are also incorrect. For example, Poland plans to buy 500 Himars launchers, and Poland paid just over $400 million for 18 launchers from the previous(first contract) order.

This is a map of the entity dependent on Germany and Austria called the Kingdom of Poland from the period 1916-1918, a country governed by collaborators (Regency Council), subordinated to the occupation authorities who represented no one else but themselves and the Germans and Austrians. Poland actually regained its independence in 1918 and began regaining its territories by expelling the Germans from all lands inhabited by Poles, mainly Greater Poland and Kashubia, which is why the map of Poland at the end of 1918 looked completely different. The Central Powers (Germany, Austria) created this micro state only to gain Poles as allies in the fight against Ententa, the Poles did not take this proposal seriously because it is enough to look at this map to understand that it was a proposal degrading the dignity of Poles.

Is it that hard to use the correct map of Ukraine? By this logic you could've included 4 more annexed oblasts if you want to adhere to "legitimate" annexation. There's no 2 ways about it - either you commit to illegal russian occupation, or use an internationally agreed map.

You forgot to mention that it wasn’t only Russia that controlled Poland in the centuries before WW2, but also Germany/Prussia & Austria (although the latter were much less oppressive regarding language and religion, unlike Russia and Germany)
