In that case you can use COPY command with array option, when you select COPY command and click on an object then you will notice on command line ARRAY. Click on array from command line and type in number of objects that you want to make copies of then select distance between two objects or select fit to specify total distance between first and last object. this will create desired array without even selecting array command.
