Huge thanks to our awesome visitors for gifting these balls to the bears 🎁 If you fancy spoiling the bears yourself head over to our amazing wish list! #polarbear
Polar Bears aren't pack animals, a handful of them will live spread across a MASSIVE area rarely crossing paths so they can all have enough to eat. This tiny pen isn't even a tenth of the area a polar bear would typically dominate. Obviously these are rescues who can't be put back into nature safely, but the way they have fun for a second is no indication that they're living their best life.
I think I saw video of the float they made them and the balls they had in the water were dead and squished! I wonder how long these fragile balls last these guys??
The swipe at the ball right before they jumped into the water. Polar bears are really swift with there paw strikes. Seriously strong and fast creatures. Incredibly fast
Me too. Most polar bears only play when they r very young cuz adults r in a constant search for enough food to sustain themselves. These guys must be happy cuz I've seen 200 lbs black bears take out stronger fencing than that lol.
@@jimmycorper have you seen their other videos? Really sounds like you haven't. Also, yeah they can be in fields with grass, muddy isn't the same as dirty, and not all polar bears are as north as possible. they're going farther and farther south every year
I hope there's no more places like this tho, they should remain free, that means they safe in the nature, polar bear in this place is for whatever good reason keep in theese kinda place
@@01_rickyjulianto_fh10 you seem to have a fundamental misunderstanding on the current state of the nature they're supposed to inhabit. Because there's so much less snow than usual and less ice for them to float on/swim to offshore, their white coats no longer camouflage them, their prey see them coming a mile away, and as a result, polar bears are literally starving to death in their natural habitats, where they have always lived. Certain areas are still inhabitable for them, but the majority of their natural habitat has been completely destroyed. Places like this will literally be the only way the species will be able to stay alive.
Comments are wild. These bears could be non release and could even be part of an education program, y'all just lose your marbles if you don't see a Polar Bear in snow.
I see a lot of comments saying how sad it for the polar bears but they are clearly very happy. And another thing to not is they don’t act like a wild polar bear don’t get me wrong it’s a wild animal but they probably aren’t releasable to the wild.
Also I feel like so many polar bears (from what we see in documentaries) are under immense pressure to find food in a habitat that is being significantly affected by global warming. I’m not saying all polar bears ought to be in captivity, but they are clearly being cared for very well here and I imagine they live a fairly stress-free and relaxing life.
Why are these BELOVED GORGEOUS Polar bears not in snow very strange they should be in Alaska where there built for the cold. They shouldn't be where they are.
Educate yourself on that, then talk about it. If you love these animals that much, then you can probably understand why they're in this Facility. It's hard to grasp i know but that's a rescue Center
You would be surprised at how a durable fence and a shit ton of volts going throw their system would deter a bear especially one of the more smarter ones.
That's what we ranchers call "hog wire". It's not even gonna slow done a polar bear! They can run right through it! How do I know? One late pitch black night as a teenager, a friend and I ran through a hog wire fence at my brother's ranch that I didn't even know was there! It tore me up some but I blasted through it a a full run.
Polar bears don’t even live in environments that are snow covered year round in the wild. I recommend doing even the cursory amount of research before commenting, so you don’t look ignorant.
I've got pics of Gus the solitary polar bear (many moons ago) in Central Park Zoo, he was so depressed, he was lying on his belly and as we approached he just put his hands over his eyes, it broke my heart, I was sobbing like a baby that day, never been to a zoo since BUT I'd love to come see the polar bears here with their toys ❤
