Thank you! 4 seaters get a bad rap since they are so long but they handle phenomenally.

Have the exact same machine in super graphite. Also we have 2 kiddos about the same age. That was one of the best videos I’ve seen of the general in action. Keep it up.

Awesome video. Utah is sweet! Can you run those trails all year? Love that the kiddos are with ya. Thanks for the extra time and work it takes to capture it all on video

Hey thanks man! These trails are currently closed for the winter.....sadly. We are itching for the weather to warm up to hit up some trails that close in the winter. But in the mean time we've been debating some snow riding.

Love the car seats in the Sxs! I’m looking to buy a general and was wondering does it come with car seat attachments? Or did you just used the seat belt?

Great camera work and love that trail except when you have others coming the opposite way....not many places to get out of the way!

im still undecided on a side by side or ATV. I don't care which one costs more, it comes down to experience. This is my only concern...Everyone likes do the driving and rip thru trails. On a side by side, there is always a possible 3 people not doing the driving. Where on a ATV, there are more chances of getting that thrill, than to be a passenger in a side by side. If i was apart of a family or friend group, i would want more people to get the experience at carving out the trails, then to be just sitting there as a passenger. I think a side by side resembles more of a truck and SUV off-roading experience, because everyone is sitting down in a vehicle. Where an ATV resembles more of a dual sport bike, jet ski, & snowmobile. Because you are sitting down on it like a horse, instead of a vehicle seat And with that said, because of how huge the side by side market has become, i think it has kinda takin away with that small engine toy experience. Like you are getting on a horse and riding-off on an engine. Where a side by side leans much more towards a real off road vehicle. Riding a ATV down the same trail, it is going to be much more exciting than to be driving 3 other people around? What are your thoughts on my comparison?

I think it really all comes down to personal preference and what your family is into. We have a 4 seat general converted to a 6 seat with a rear bench and a front bump seat integrated into the center council for our little guy. My wife doesn't care to do the driving, I try to encourage her all the time but she just doesn't get the thrill but loves to be out in the woods and ride/see all the different views and stuff. We all love and enjoy the out doors and can't get to our property in northern Michigan enough so for us it's more so just being out there together and everyone being safe within the roll cage with harnesses etc. I would say for my family, a sxs is the only way to go until my kids are older, and which point I would imagine that my wife and I will still be in a sxs and the kiddos can start getting into quads or bikes if they wish. No matter what you do the biggest piece of the puzzle is being together with the people that matter and doing something you all enjoy together, regardless of what that might be.

Thanks man! Yeah the generals come with 30's, to be honest that's what made it so appealing to me. Bigger tires=bigger clearance! Be sure to subscribe. We have a Moab video dropping in a few weeks. It will highlight the suspension!

I’m looking to purchase a general is the cab heat out of control?
@ventureoutdoorfamily5523
@ventureoutdoorfamily5523 2 года назад
We have yet to notice the cab heat. The hottest day we have been out riding was upper 80s and it felt fine. We would recommend the general to everyone for performance and looks!

@@markjohnson4486 I actually ended up buying the Yamaha rmax, the thing is beast I would recommend looking at these before purchasing a Polaris The fit and finish in unbelievable, and if you look at the over all build quality you will notice a difference!

Have you had a problem with belt slap ?
@ventureoutdoorfamily5523
@ventureoutdoorfamily5523 2 года назад
No belt slap problems yet. I've heard a lot of issues with the 2020. (hopefully Polaris fixed it in the 2021's) We just hit the 250 miles mark and plan on taking off the casing to see if there is any rub marks. We will let you know! If so we may just decide to change the belt.

I have a 2020 General, and have a big problem with belt slap. Tried 3 different belts, a factory recall, still does it. I’m talking with Polaris now trying to get some help

I’m far from prudish when it comes to adventure. My four sons ride dirtbikes at insane speeds. They downhill mountain bike on Whistler’s double blacks. They huck huge drops at Snowbird. They play football and lacrosse. But I would never take a kid in my Can Am that’s in a child seat. Never. Use some common sense folks.
