I know that these occre models are not cheap at all but it would be good if you made more videos like this, they are really interesting and relaxing, if you want ideas you could take a medium-large stick and shape it into a small sloop. good luck. ;3

Did you use contact cement (cobblers glue) for the second layer of hull planking?

No, for that i used white glue 🙂

@boatbob ok. I asked because my OcCre Terror advises using contact cement for the deck (I didn't) and the final hull planks. I don't want to use that for various reasons but i have never worked with such thin planking. Supposed to be 0.6mm but actually on 0.45 mm. I wanted to see what your experience was. I am concerned that the water content of white glue might curl it, but contact cement is messy and unforgiving. I'm really not pleased about the under spec planking. OcCre admit it is not correct but just say it will be fine. It's a completely painted hull but that doesn't mean workmanship and finish don't matter!

@@timmorrison4117 Yes, I don't like cement precisely for this reason, it is very thick and difficult to treat, but with the white glue the result is very good, because it is glue prepared for wood and very easy to remove the excess. I am glad that these videos serve as a reference for you. Thanks!😄
