My wife told me to find a better way to "pave" our trails with wood chips. After some research I purchased a Sure-Trac dump trailer. This video is about loading the dump trailer with wood chips with my 2006 John Deere 4115 tractor and pulling the loaded trailer with my 2021 Polaris Ranger EV. After the 1-mile, 400-foot climb to where I'm "paving" trails I show what I've learned improving this task. I also show battery power consumption, using the different power applications and drive features of the Polaris Ranger EV. The trailer weighs 960 pounds. The maximum GVW is 2990 pounds. So, the trailer can actually carry around 2,000 pounds. I estimate that I'm pulling under 1,500 pounds, which is the maximum pulling weight for the Polaris EV.
