RPM's Sport Muffler lineup includes this beautiful stainless steel tig welded muffler for the Polaris Xpeditions. This is a OEM Replacement slip on style muffler that retains all stock hardware and does not hinder bed use! This Sport Muffler provides a minimum 5HP gain on a stock machine & even more gains to be had on tuned machines. This is a huge power gainer for tuned machines and is required in our opinion for any machine doing a stage 1 or higher tune! This is such a great deep sounding muffler that won't leave your ears ringing at the end of the day. This muffler is constructed from 304 stainless and is fully tig welded. Wanna make something that'll sell, make something that quiets the Xpedition down.

The exhaust isn't why it's "loud". It's a resonating noise from, a lack of panel padding like you'd see in a ranger. The expedition is a essentially a xp1000 drive and powertrain, the Xp1000 isn't and wasnt built to be quiet, but in a whole, the Xpedition is drastically quieter than a xp1000.

I have a new 2024 Xpedition XP 5 - I have my cabin down to 68 to 69 DB at idle - added sound deadener and 3/4" rubber floor mats front and rear - Still need to have the RPM tamed down -= According to Polaris they are working "diligently" on a fix - HUNDREDS OF COMPLAINTS - they have said EARLY 2024 - well here is early 2024 - nothing yet!!

Agree 100%, we need a quieter exhaust.

@@ryans888, the exhaust isn’t what makes the expeditions “loud”. The true UTV enthusiast coming from the xp platforms that the expedition is based on know that it is significantly quieter than the xp platforms. If you want quiet, you need a new ranger 1500.

@@captainstk001your dealer will install a quiet clutch kit for free. I just had mine done. Quiets it a little at low speeds. Up to maybe 25. After that sounds exactly the same. If I had it to do again I’d wait till mine was wore out then get a new clutch for free.
