You probably haven't heard of Polaroid Professional Chrome, but in the summer of 1985 it was a huge announcement. It was their first dip into conventional 4x5 large format photography and a lot of it made sense, but it just wasn't meant to last.
UPDATE: @analogwisdom Hi Azriel! Great video. I have some information I received from the Harvard Archives about this film. It was just Fujichrome 64T (RTP) and Fujichrome 100D (RDP) that Polaroid cut down and confectioned for their 4x5 system. No special Polaroid recipes or formula, it was the same film, interestingly the negatives were the same size as Type 55 negatives. It mostly died because of Kodak and Fuji coming out with their own Quick/Readyload systems. I actually have a box of the 100D, the sticker on the box says the "film will not be manufactured after December 1993".

If you're interested in shooting some of it (it did not age well) I would be happy to send it your way!

That is an incredibly generous offer my man, thanks so much. I don't have a large format camera though :) Also, amazing, info I'm going to add this to the description and credit you!

Ah. As soon as I saw that it was the same as the readyload system, I can see why it died from Polaroid. Fuji could easily undercut them

Ahh, Readyloads! I have some super expired but fun Kodak E64T and Provia (I think) film like this. Need to pull some more of that out of the fridge. :)

10/7/23 I would use in my Konica Auto T camera with Kodak or Fuji 135mm film cause of the compatable pricing, plus each film type had it advantage, the Fuji film had great natural and bright colors and skin tones and tonal range, plus fine grain, Kodak film was easy to get at most stores and available in various film formats as needed. Polaroid also had a super huge format that was used at a art museum copy camera to record copies of some art master pieces, I am not sure if it was at 1 to 1, but a lot larger than the general public would ever use.
