I found a extender pole sawing the trash with a lopper. Blade was missing but I had some old slikie blades so some time on the drill press I have a good one for the house. At work I'm a landscaper and time is money and the Stihl poll chainsaw is great love it. Whatever happened to the prison bus I might have missed that video like to see an update. Keep making them and I'll keep watching them.
Love my pole saw... It's the cat's pajamas...mine is the silky hayauchi...20 feet.. telescoping it's glorious... Very compatible very sharp...and the back up is the mighty stihl pole saw gas powered...
I have an ancient one of my dad's. It's a square pole with a solid steel bar that runs down its back to pull a loper at the front. Simple tool but amazing what it can do when sharp & well lubed.
excellent showdown.....we have the multi pole version and of course the stihl gas powered as well..... just a quick tip: you can get a *Notch Bigshot* its a slingshot that goes on the end of your multi pole setup and it allows you to shoot a throw bag/throw line into large trees with greater accuracy stay safe stay healthy
I have a pole saw that cost only $5. Grab your swimming pool telescopic pole and buy a cheap pruning saw and some duct tape. It's the perfect solution for a home owner (with a swimming pool) that only needs a pole saw a few times each year. Stretch the duct tape really tight when lashing the saw to the end of the pole. I have been using this technique for pruning my palm trees for 20 years.
